I want to buy a Motive bleeder, I wonder if your would work, that would be awesome. Do you buy your fluid locally? I need to find out how much is needed to do a full flush.

I have been buying mine through amazon (both the blue and yellow)...you can prolly get the bleeder through them as well. I just sneak in a can or two every time i order something. I try to keep one or two flushes worth on hand at any given time.

You will prolly take 1 -1.5 liters...basically you would need two cans. You typically need more in the bleeder than your system actually requires to make sure the bleeder doesn't go dry mid-flush.

Hell yeah! Liking that.

There is a red bull Z4MC running around too...there are several teams that are using the platform...evidently the chassis is extremely well suited.

Were you wanting to do your brakes with the blue? If so, I have some extra cans here you might be interested in...save you the shipping cost and time.

Car Stuttering at 4500 RPM

well for the last week my car had starting bogging down around 4500 rpm. I checked the coils and wires and the plugs are only a month old. So I checked the SSV valve acuator and the valve is frozen solid. I had read about this valve getting stuck because of carbon build up and followed this guy's thread with video to remove and clean it.

https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-do-yourself-forum-73/diy-remove-ssv-beta-teaser-video-184663/

took me about 8 hours altogether but my car now runs like a beast unleashed...

Had to remove the following

intake
battery and tray
air pump
upper intake
manifold
PCM harness
Water pump pulley
alternator bracket
upper and lower coolant manifold to engine

Damn dude, you should have called me, I would have loved to get into that project. I know eventually I will end up doing it considering I have had three engines.

What did you use to clean it?

an entire can of carb cleaner. then used about another half of can to clean the inside of the lower intake manifold where is resides. stuffed the runnners with rags to keep the cleaner from going into the engine, but some still got in there. took it forever to startup. When it did it was like a miny decarbing of the engine and it smoked like a bitch and you could smell the carb cleaner...

here is where it goes in the LIM..
