My money is still on a shitty engine that said you could have some failed coilpacks and some super shitty plugs.

doubtful but possible.

Met up with that guy to get some logs. He had to transfer the data to his other computer to read it, so waiting on that.

He gave me a ride in his avant with upgraded pistons, rods, tial 605's (larger turbos than mine), running 30+ psi... holy ****. My car is slow. His estimates put his car ~100 hp higher than mine and he's still tuning. He's scheduled to dyno it at noribilt in a week or so, so it should be fun to see what numbers he's making.

See if you can get some stock coils from a local member to test and swap out. When that doesn't work go get a compression test.

I found a gold/orang '79 rx7 on CL the other day just outside of SA for $800... anyone want a dreadful rx7 that has been sitting in a garage for 15 years let me know and I'll find the link for ya'. Supposedly it was an ignition fuse that caused the car to sit for so long and now the carb needs to be rebuilt and that's it... riiiighht.

Dude, you came to the right place for spring installs.... I'm sure between the lot of us we've done 50. Surely somebody in here will be willing to help you DIY. You don't need a lift and Beer won't cost you $300

Eh, I'm not really complaining lol. It was a fun ride. Of course, I'd love to have that set up but my car is plenty fast (when it's running properly). I can't imagine I'd want anything more than his car for a street car... that's way more than enough.

If anything, I'm more envious of the fact that it's a widebody avant... it looks awesome!

Yeah I am sure we can manage a spring install, I would say 50 between all of us is about right If we get a decent weekend coming up you can swing by and we can knock it out.
