I can follow ya if some1 else isn't already lined up. Handling will be much nicer with new suspension and tires

I dunno man, it's pretty intense in the fast group, you may want to see how it is first. We have done it many time so we know what to expect. But we will find out when you get there. I believe Missy is coming in her car so Corn will probably stay back and cruise with her.

I will be cruzzing with the back crowd if I can get the car sorted in time. Just worried about the new paint.

The plan is if I get her suspension in by the meet I will drive her car on the run and she will ride shotgun. we are taking both 8s but will use one of them for the run. Might get her to drive some of the more tamer parts...

i have run those roads enough that i know whats coming around the corner, both forward and backwards. some people don't understand that its not about how fast you can take the turn but how you can set yourself up for the switchback or the follow up curve. Come in too hot and it can be disastrous, kick out once into the oncoming traffic at the wrong time and its all over. We are lucky that we have only had one incident that could have been prevented.

There are a number of reasons we have decided to bypass this whole event, mostly from some of the behind the scenes convos, improper relations, and then ofcourse that comments like "lets see if i can get everyone in trouble again". I guess the school/training just provides a good excuse to skip it. I know we have talked about a "sister" event in the fall, well this is probably going to help advance these plannings.

oh yeah and the autumn run.... will not be at the three sisters, we have been scoping out new roads and been doing some slight mapping in the fredricksburg area, even found a really nice hotel with decent group pricing..... the plan is to hit up lime creek rd up near lake travis, but dont know if that would be too much driving....

the roads we have tested so far, well lets just say the runs will be alot more intense just shorter, plenty of breaks to let the blood rush back into your knuckles. there were a few turns that caught me offguard and i had to back off it for a minute..... but what a rush. the roads are a lot narrower and are not as forgiving on the suspension

You will want to cover it with painters tape for sure.

Okay cool, we need to download ATR, then the Cobb Manager and Firmware updater. Once we get everything updated we can install it and I can you give a tune to try out that will omit your check engine light, increase your oil metering rates, and turn the fans on earlier.

I'm down for a new run as well. I'd also like to try one of the hill country drive events as well. I can't wait for the Texas8 though, there have been some issues but overall it's been a fun event.

no doubt its been fun..... but it just seems the drama surrounding the whole event just gets worse every year

Ever since the KEVO incident, its been all downhill in my opinion..... some of the drivers see it as a license to drive like an *******, they aren't the ones that will have to deal with the aftermath like we do, since we drive it more often.....

this all started out about the drive.... not the shenanigans you can get away with

The three sisters is pretty badass, it's not as pretty as PCH or some places in Washington, Colorado, or Utah that I have driven on but as far as the number of curves and difficulty level it's pretty awesome. Also, traffic and cops are not a huge issue like some other places I have been.
