I am looking to get my rolled as well, lets do them all at the same time and split the savings...I bet at least $40 is travel.

I'm down 9K wanted to do his as well... Unfortunately both your cars are on jackstands.

Destroying Stock bolts to fit TurboXS Exhaust:


Gave up trying to get that SOB out of the threads, and really didn't feel like grinding the welds for the nuts on the back. Buying a bolt for the other side at Home Depot now.

Hoe depot bolts will be ok for a temporary solution. But overtime they will get just as stuck if not more. You'll want to get bolts that have been heat treated from a place like fastenal.

Agreed, this is a fix-action to get me from Dallas to Austin, then to San An. Should be able to get a propper bolt in Austin. To hell with whoever designed the stock assembly for this joint... Torch, clamp, or power tools be damned, that thing would break the gasket mount point before coming out.

Awesome, just wanted to make sure!

Unfortunately the S1's are plagued with those kinds of stupid design flaws. I dunno about the S2's but I cant imagine they changed much. If you ever need help wrenching let me know I've been waiting to get my hands on an S2 to see what the differences are.

Well obviously... Thats why we should get them rolled at your house, I need them rolled before the tx 8 so does scott I think...

sorry it was wishful thinking about the tx8...even if I was installed by then it would not be broken in yet so I would have to baby it.
