Looks sick, I would never do that here or I would be killing construction workers for the quality of roads (or lack thereof) in SA

Hey Shady, maybe you can give me a tip or two.

I've noticed that my ABS doesnt kick on period. I've even tried to brake as hard as possible (like 70 down to zero full break dry conditions, no abs)

I've also noticed that since I've gotten my back tires changed out and rotated that when I've I'm making banked turns at moderate speeds the TCS kicks on on it feels the driver side is digging in or something. These are by no means turns at what I would call track speed either. TCS has never kicked on in those situations before.

Try the slamming on the brakes in a wet or gravel/dirt condition you should feel a pulsation in the brake pedal, that would be the ABS working. Also if you can make a 70-0 stop with control of the vehicle in a relatively short distance that would also point to a functional ABS system.

As for the TCS issue, how many miles are on your new tires? were the tires warmed up prior to taking the turns? Also its a longshot, but if the tires are directional and have an outside inside the shop might have put the outside on the inside and reversed the rotation.

Just some thoughts, hope you get it figured out!

^ Hard braking 70-0 with no ABS your brakes would definitely lock up and pull to either side wet or dry if you try it again and they do lock up let off and use slow steady pressure to stop

As far as the TCS like shady said check the direction, also if it's shaking or shimmering at all when it happens check the weights to make sure they didn't knock any if not all of them off and check the suspension for any obvious damage

if the abs system was not working... you abs light would come on

the abs system in modern vehicles do full system checks every time you key to start, and then sends "check" signals at intervals while the vehicle in on, if at any point it doesn't get the signal back, it will sense a problem, disengage the system and illum the abs light

It's probably just shitty tires causing you to lose traction, causing the TCS to kick in. You have to break pretty damn hard for the ABS to kick in on our cars. At least on mine anyway.

Breaking literally as hard as I can (foot to the floor at 70) and no lock ups (or what I perceive to be lockups and no abs) Just put new Hawk HPS pads on.

I didnt do any break in at all, had a shop near my house do it since it was a simple job and I'm not really setup to be able to do that on my own (even if I do know how). I didn't have the rotors messed with tho.

I am sure it's not the issues but the pads should have been properly bedded to insure they work right.

I'm down for lending a hand tomorrow. Where is the mission swap going down, 9k's? I'll hit up the commissary for whatever is needed for the BBQ. hoss or 9k let me know. Finally got the oil changed on the drive up ramp on base using an elaborate series of levers, ramps, and pullys... Then realized the filter was still in my hotel. Oh well, gives me an excuse to buy another 4qts of oil and do it again. In other news, to hell with the engine brace blocking the spark plugs...
