Yea...
In Austin we get to deal with hoards of pedestrians, bicycles, motorcycles, and dumb *** drivers.
I fear for my life every time I drive out here, usually I get road rage and do some dumb **** though. Also instead of my horn I rev my car, seems to get their attention faster.

Texas highway would be the first to allow 85 mph speed limit
Can't drive 55? … 65? … 75? How about 85?
A stretch of Texas highway may soon be the first road in the country to have a posted 85 mph speed limit.
The Texas Department of Transportation said this week that part of a toll road being built between Austin and San Antonio will be tested to see if motorists can safely push it to 85.
"It was designed under extremely high design parameters," Darren McDaniel, the state's Speed Management Director told WOAI radio.
Texas and Utah are the only states with 80-mph limits on some roadways. But Texas turned heads when lawmakers gave the green light to go to 85 if needed.
"The higher the speed limit, the more accidents there are, the more injuries and the more deaths," Jerry Johns, president of the Southwest Insurance Information Institute, told Reuters last year.
Eighty-five mph would be the second-highest posted speed limit in the world, according to the European auto rental firm Rhino Car Hire, Reuters reported. Some roads in Poland reportedly allow speeds of about 86 mph.
Texas hopes the faster toll road will help relieve one of the country's most congested interstates, between Austin and San Antonio.
"It's in a straight, flat area," TxDOT spokesman Mark Cross told Yahoo. "Safety is a priority. We want to make sure people understand that."

I take that Toll way a couple of times a month to bypass Austin on my way to my parents. I was pleasantly surprised to see they raised it to 80MPH. Plus there are no cops on it anyway. Even the speed limit on I-35 has been raised to 75MPH in certain spots. I love it.

To answer a question Scott asked a while back, I still have the S4. My plan was to hold onto it unless I got offered a position in Japan, which just happened earlier today. So... now the S4 will be going up for sale! Going to take care of a few basic things but I'll just have to lower the price a bit for a quicker sale and to avoid dropping a bunch of money just to sell it.
I'm hoping I'll be able to get out to SA before heading out, so I'll try to make it to a meet or something if possible.

So i went up Sunday to get Isaac the new car is grandfather and I bought him
1992 Honda Prelude SI with 118,000 miles on it. It also has new CV's, new AC compressor, AC condenser, and had a tune up and oil change. It was bought from my fathers friend who is a mechanic. A Baylor student owned it and she turned it in to get the AC repaired and the axles replaced and she then could not afford the repairs once it wad done. So since he is a nice guy he held it for a year awaiting payment and she never came back. He filed a mechanics lien and took ownership of the car. Not bad for $2500.00 huh?
It just needs new tires, new radio, new passenger front fender (creased) and a paint job and it will be good to go. But man things are cheap for this car, I can get a brand new replacement fender for $150.00.

The interior is in great condition and in typical Honda fashion, everything works from the power mirrors to the power moon roof.
