lol... I screwed it up even more when I tried to relive tension on the LIM by loosening the bolts.

I'm going to need to take all the bolts out again and bolt it back up.

Let's do it. I'm headed to Austin this weekend to hang out with Claudia so we may give you a shout if you are in town. Hopefully she will be cool with letting me mod on Sunday, since I kind of promised I would go this weekend without modding. Two full weekends without installing something is killing me.

Grungepup is off the following weekend and we are going to install his new headlights and oil pressure gauge.

Oh, and I got the 411 on the Aermotive pump upgrade from bumblebeerx8. I also found it on my new favorite parts site, www.autoplicity.com for $133.00 I got the Derale fan and cooler kit I bought from them for $50.00 cheaper than I could find it anywhere else.

Back in the day I had a hot rod bug... very easy to work on..

1972 beetle replaced engine from 1600cc single barrel carb to 1641cc with progrssive 2 barrel carb...

one of the coolest things I saw was a 1776 with a ko4 (I think it was) runing a 9sec 1/4mile

My buddy had a Bug in high in high school that would beat up on 5.0's and Z28's. It was a total sleeper. The only thing that gave it away was the fact that it was louder than an uncorked rotary.

mine was very loud. I had this header exhaust combo (no baffle)



you had to make sure you did not trip over the tailpipe if you walked around the back of the car...

I had mine when I used to do car audio...removed back seat, 3 amps, 2 sets of 6x9s in the front doors, 4-10" bazooka tubes in the back...it would shake out baby teeth...

Yeah my cousin lives in a small town in VT and they actually banned Bass in part because of his car.
