I was at a friends house. Nothing stolen. It looks like the just hit the window in a downward motion clipping the door on the way down.

What's with the beige sparco? That doesn't seem to match the color combo

Not Beige at all. its gray and black and matches very well.

It was pure vandalism I think someone ether hit it with some tool in a downward motion also hitting the door or someone threw a beer bottle at it from a speeding car.

I thought it was shot at first also but when I saw the door it very clear that something bounced off the door or window and hit the other.

I just had the biggest WTF moment of my entire life...

I go to unlock my car door and hear a faint click noise, which was odd. I then go to open the door, nothing happens the handle moves freely. I think, "hmm outside handle thingy dingy must be busted". So I squeeze into the pass side and attempt to open the drivers side from the pass side. Nothing happens handle moves freely...

My car is finally starting to look like a 8 year old car! Busted hid headlight, damaged front bumper, no working drivers side door handles, check engine light always on, scratches all over the place.

I can confirm that one...sunroof wont open, rear end started making noise when it squats (like bushings sticking), scratch on rear bumper where I closed the garage on it, dent from 3yr old learing how to open the truck door, CEL always on, faded black trim...etc

but you know what...it beats a $650 car payment!

This was the biggest PIA thing ever to fix on my 8. I was able to remove the door panel with the door closed though. You will need a whole new latch assembly though because usually it is the spring which you cannot find individually. I got mine form www.revvinsevens.com in Arlington.

Man you know I'm ghetto... I'll prolly drill a hole for a piece of string and duct tape it to the door handle.

He is hit or miss. I know he is not honest with his descriptions but I have received what I have ordered in a timely manner. I needed a latch assembly quick and since he was in Texas I got it next day. But the Calipers I got said they had 5k on them and when they showed up they looked like then have spent the last ten years under water But I am rebuilding them and repainting them anyway.

It is a little out of my budget though... I was thinking more of a gate latch style.
