TX Hello

At 9k's somewhat of a hint (we've been e-mailing offline), I've created an accout and would like to say hello to my fellow San Antonian RXers.

Not a Chance~! I require a drivers car at all times. The goal is to keep the 8 and not have to use it for a DD. If I was going to replace the 8 it would not be with a SUV.

(it would be a Miata when they finally put the ms3 engine in it.)

When I first read that, I thought you said M3 engine. For a few seconds I thought you were trying to say you'd never be getting a miata lol.

No, didn't know about it. We were having a mod weekend though, got to meet a new local member. You should check out our next one.

Here are some after Mod Day pics I took of Grungepup's car and mine.

Read the super long thread Eric Meyer posted about pads. I called his buddy that he references in the thread and decided to keep stock specs on the rear. Eventually if I addicted to Austin Driveway (very likely) like Kevo then I will go with a more serious setup but the stock rotors and pads are excellent. Honestly I mainly went with slotted/dimpled based soley on price and looks. They do seem to perform as well as the stocks but we shall see.

If stock rotors are good for a full race car then that says something about the stock system.

I have read the post by Eric Meyer... basically says stock brake pads are fine just push them to the limit more, or something along the lines of that...

oh and by all means the stock system is Brembo, lol of course its good. I just dont want to go back to OEM pads...
