Well, I called to confirm what I realized late last night.... Today was the last day for the other people to respond, which means I don't get to hear/get things started till tomorrow. Oh well. Just more anticipation. The longer I'm waiting the more I'm wanting it to be called a total. To make things worse, I really found pretty much the exact car I'd want to get.

the rotorhead in me doesn't want to see this car die in such a fashion.....
but the car enthusiast in me wants to see you in a car that you would appreciate...
good luck with either one that comes back

I know what you mean.
I'm ready for them to just make a decision and start the process. It's been 2 weeks now and still waiting for them to officially decide who was liable (even though they have a police report which officially explains how it happened).
I'm not sure how this whole thing works as far as determining the actual valued damage. From the way they're describing it to me, once they determine liability, they'll basically release the $3400 from the estimate to the shop, and then the shop will tell them what they'll need in addition. The only problem with that is that it sounds like that plan automatically assumes that the car is not going to be a total.

I got 5mm spacers off ebay that look exactly like those. May have been the same place in fact. I don't think they have the 25mm spacers like you need though. edit: http://www.ezaccessory.com/Wheel_Ada.../5450-5450.htm Those look like they would work but since it says it would fit mustangs.......it won't be hubcentric. Project Kics/H&R look to be around $120 new from what a couple people posted. Take that fwiw.

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good body/paint shop. I'm thinking real hard about getting the Shine Auto front bumper and I definitely don't want to become a statistic of bad body shops. Thanks

Laredo paint and body on fredricksburg... that's where I'm having my car repaired...
No total. Insurance company approved the repairs today. It still could cross the value for a total but doesn't look like it will. From what mike originally told me, I should get it back in about 3 weeks.
