Thats expensive for enkei. My rims were closer to 1200 shipped brand new. I wouldn't think RPF1 were that much more.

speaking of scott.... with brice/rr/fluid praticing the same business model(and interestingly selling some of the same products) this was bound to happen eventually

Yeah I made it a point to not do business with them but i have to admit the oil pan and fan control kit were tempting.

Oil pan was the only thing I even contemplated. The "connection" to Mazsport and the failed hood damper GB made me weary to do business with him. I saw those threads on the other forums and thought it ironic that it was basically the same situation as Mazsport. I'm sure it isn't entirely too uncommon a situation though.

Yeah, I can't believe no charges (to my knowledge) were enforced on Mazsport. What goes around comes around.

AFAIK you get to sue the company. Unfortunately the company shut down and so any claims against it magically go away.

Fortunately the magic shield of the corp goes away if illegal activity is involved.

IANAL, but this is my understanding of the situation.

I consider my items in Scott's possession stolen property. I have a judgment for $2000 against Mazsport. He claimed he had no money and could only afford to pay $100/mo due to the economy. Guess how much I received before he folded? A total of $100.

Anyone who knows his whereabouts, please PM me.

Not supposedly. They verified it themselves in a public forum:

I'm very happy to announce that Minds Eye Engineering is now booking appointments!

Just put up a simple sort of 'online business card' here:

Scott & I have spent the last several years making slow Mazdas fast & fast Mazdas faster.

Would that be the same Scott from Mazsport that closed a while back?
Post by d_rasp » Wed Mar 24, 2010 5:39 pm

Yessir, thats us. I worked with Scott for the last ~2yrs of Mazsport.

yessir, details here: http://heatwaveinc.com/

Not sure I'll make it, don't really want to either as I hate rushing to shows last minute (or anything last minute really), but we'll see, I should know more tomorrow.
