hey guys.. well the 8 is up and running again. Thanks for the info.. only thing now is i need to work on getting a new exhaust which i heard a youtube vid with a HKS sounding nice to me. yet video doesnt always tell the real sound. My stock seems to show a slight rattle sound when i push it to 4k rpms then goes away..

I've been good, finally landed a good IT job, done with school, picked up a new hobby...reef keeping haha. Still have my 8, but I am growing very tired of it. It just needs a lot of help that I don't care to attend to since i'm considering another car. Anyways, what about you scott? Still at the docs office on 410?

Replacing the 8 is going to be tough to find something that compares. I want a 4 door, modest power, and great looks. So a couple that I thought may be quitable would be a evo mr, audi a4-s4, or mayybe a new mazda 6/3. I would love a new MS3, have you guys seen the concepts? Any suggestions? I also thought about getting a suv like a Ford Edge.

Maybe the original owner of my 7 will come forth and give me double my asking price then I could somehow manage to buy a GTR...wishful thinking
I do not know exactly why, but I refuse to even consider a BMW. It may have to do with a old friend who fit the stereotypical beamer driver, but the new ones are pretty well engineered.
So im too lazy to research it here, did you get the turbo stuff all worked out Scott? I wish I couldve taken the 7 on a hill country run, wouldve loved hearing it echo through that huge canyon part.

If I had the money and could part out my 8 I would love a 2013 pre owned A4. I'd get a stasis tune which does not void the warranty and gives you some extra pep.
Install some bags save for some legit wheels and call it good till the warranty runs out in 6 years.

How did I know Shady would come in here and get me interested in something. Thank you for sharing that tuner shady. I am now considering a used 2009+ a4. I wanted a s4 but the payments would be unreasonable considering my new reefing hobby takes a lot of my dinero. A nice set of wheels on an a4 w/ tune sounds damn good to me.

Yeah man it's running pretty great. I do have an issue where I don't hit full boost from time to time but even at 5psi it is way better than before. Our cruise was pretty uneventful thankfully except for me scraping frame on a huge repair patch in the middle of the road from being so low.

Just dropping by to say hi, car is still going strong, made it in the local paper a few weekends ago. Hope all is well with everyone, I'm working a lot and riding my bike a ton, the 31st I'll be riding the F1 track on my new Sunday 24", can't wait!
