Been thinking about making a build thread since I still haven't installed my engine. Team has been busy so I've just been in a waiting formation...
Today alone I bought some remanufactured Denso injectors, and a OEM fuel pump from BHR since my pump has 78K miles/6-7 years of use on it...
I have so much waiting to be installed it's crazy... Just wanting this build to go smooth with no problems

New belts, clean your radiator and condenser using a garden hose.
Remove the insulation from behind the engine, degrease the entire engine bay, relocate the Baro sensor and fuel pump resistor, remove the air pump, install the air pump block off plate.
Oh a whole bunch of stuff can be done.

Team has a climate cooled storage unit, thats where the install shall commence 
He isn't the only one that can help me, but he's helped me quite a bit in the past. He knows what he's doing, so i dont mind waiting...
This is pretty much the only thing I have not done... I got plenty of remans though, and although I know they usually switch over those types of things, ive gotten hooked up in the past.
I will check out the oil injectors/lines... The fuel lines I am going to keep as is, unless they cost next to nothing to replace...
Already have new Gates racing belts, Ill spray it with a hose but also, because I got frequent engines, my radiator has had plenty of fluid flushes. I plan on buying some Mazda coolant to use since it lasts like forever...
Air pump is already removed/blocked. The Baro sensor is 3M double-sided in a nice spot. removing the insulation, can't wait to do this...

The fuel lines is a saftey issue. you should really replace them. Ask old dragger or Houston rx8r how they know this first hand.
At the very least put clamps around the lines.

So you advise
Reusing stock belts with XXXXX amount of miles?
Not cleaning the radiator and condenser out?
Not relocating things in the engine bay to clean it up?
Not replacing a fuel line, a potential fire hazard and a relatively cheap part?
Please with all of your great wisdom tell me how any of those items would result in a negative outcome...

I doubt Team/Mark is disagreeing the use of new lines. We have all seen or know somebody who has not replaced these and had a problem.

more than likely they were not installed and checked properly afterward or maybe f'd up being forced off improperly
mine have been off/on more than his. I makes sure that it is pushed onto the nipple fully with some force to bottom it out good, make sure to put some force on the release ring tab in the non-release direction, and then give it a moderate tug to make sure it's not going to pop off.
It only sees 56 psig fuel pressure, calculate the area of the connector ID in square inches and multiply it by 56 lbs. The net resulting force is fairly small, like maybe two lbs max. The only potential abuse it sees is operator error coming off or going on.

I don't know if you know much about plastics but they tend to lose form after extensive use.
But you clearly don't want to listen to reason or logic so have fun with that, hope yours don't pop yours off at the track.

I should have my parts back from PC bu Thursday, I should be able to get the parts installed and the coolant flushed by Saturday morning. Then we can work on hectors car.
