9k, I feel you on child support. After 18 yrs of paying support I am done. My daughter is off to college and I'm really proud of her. I have no complaints of what her mother did with the money I sent every month. No horror stories of no food or no clothes. Her mom did an excellent job of raising her

^I realize that's probably a rhetorical question - asking me advice usually isn't the best idea as i have a certain "way" about doing things.

I am a military Brat myself, we have lived in some of the same places

My ex is good in terms of how she takes care of my kids but the fact that my child support pays the bills for her and her Coffee shop working boyfriend annoys me, especially when I am still taking my kids shopping, eating, movies, etc. every other weekend. I would much rather give the money straight to my kids.

Oh, and on a lighter note,

Anyone know any places to powdercoat rims. I found one lonestar powdercoating they charge about $75 a rim. Is that a good price or does anyone else have any other places they know about.
Any Help is appreciated.

$75.00 a rim is a good price, is that for prep too? I have a customer who works at Wheels America and even with his discount that about what it comes out to.

But, painting is better than PC. There is a reason all factory wheels are painted and not powdercoated.

$75 per for powder coating is a good price. Do not forget to add in the costs of unmounting and mounting the tires. IMO painting is the better option though and it is what I did.

Yeah we had another local guy (has an R3 now) and he had factory PC rims and he said when they chip, they chip in chunks and you cannot really repair it like you can if they are painted.

Only way to repair a powder coated wheel is to have powder coated again.

Yep, I have a set of stockers I have been wanting to sell but my mom just bought a 2010 base Altima Coupe over the weekend and my dad is already tired of the 16" wheels so we might paint them and slap them on the Altima.
