The MX-5 is bone stock right now, but it's getting a set of RX-8 sway bars and some springs. The 4x4 ride height has to go.
I'll see ya around. Either in the black MX-5 or the grey 8 in the sig, but with stock wheels (gold is for the R-comps).

LOL, I wish. There is no such monster yet, but I've been very impressed with the relatively torquey 2.0L in the MX-5. The low end and midrange is much better than the 1.8L Miata I had.

So i saw a white one in front of Best Buy yesterday, think the girl and her boyfriend saw me too, but they looked pretty young and are probably not on the forums. I also spotted a tit grey while in Dallas Tuesday, it was located on commerce (?) kind of near the "west end", me and a coworker of mine were driving around trying to find market and elm, then we had lunch at spaghetti warehouse. I noticed it had like chrome wheels, but i think that's it, was my first time being deep in downtown Dallas, pretty interesting deal

Advertised drop is .8" I'd say in reality it's more like 1.2 or so, it's not as much as 1.5". I bought them mainly for the higher spring rates, the drop is nice though, I hate the "slammed" look and the car handles like crap if it's riding on the bump stops with those 3" drop springs.

Blasphemy!
I like it, but it's all a matter of how you get there. I have seen some perfectly good cars ruined just because someone was after a look, and they didn't take the time and money to engineer it properly etc. (ex- cut springs, rigged suspension etc.)
I totally don't think this looks bad at all, but I'm pretty sure it has adjustable suspension and doesn't roll around like this on a daily basis:

Like that RX-8, here's a raised Porsche that actually gets things done:
And does anyone work at the HEB in Austin on Pamar&I35? I always see a black RX-8 there in the back of the lot. I carded them, but no show.

I've got high-res of the rally one, and I was gonna bring footage to the next meet, but it's all in Greek and there's only like 10 seconds
