congrats!
I wonder if it's the same guy from last year, I got 3rd last year to a red one in the "street" class (which is what I was in) who kept his car closed up all weekend, had no interior work done, just had a carbon fiber hood, stock wheels, and Mazdaspeed stuff like the bumper and sides etc. (not even sure if it was replica or not) My buddies told me about the red one that was slammed, probably the same dude. I was pretty sad about not making it this year so I stayed away, probably a good thing I didn't compete now as I probably would have gotten screwed again lol So was your car in mild or full? I was going to go yesterday but the thought of being out in the heat and walking around thinking "I should be here" and being bummed/frustrated/etc just didn't appeal to me so I stayed home, watched some Tour de France coverage and studied my mcse stuff

Yep that was the same guy. I was in Mild. You should be in mild when you get done. It was pretty hot out there, I stayed in the air conditioned Audiobahn rig most of the time. There was a window inside where I could just look over an check on my 8 in their booth, so it was nice!

yeah, I remember homedude. He was all "I'm doing rpetty good for a dude who's not sponsored" like he was taking a jab at me etc. I guess he thought mine was sponsored under the tent or something, but the reality is I pay for all of it and if I'm lucky I catch a break here and there. (mostly on labor on the stereo stuff, but that's it)
Last year mine was in the Soundstream booth and they had one of those giant pesudo a/c fans blowing so it was shweet. I kept hearing that audiobahn was going under but I still see their stuff for sale so wonder why people keep telling me that

Thats a bummer your not coming out, I was hoping to see your 8 since it has been a while.

You gonna try to come to Dub in Houston next month?
I wish I could go out and see your 8 on the 26th but I've gotta run back up to Dallas a bit before the 20th.

Planning on doing any install days at your or Chris' place anytime soon? I don't remember whose house it was I showed up to in White Settlement for the instally day last fall.

Twinks ... we gonna plan a day to do the sway installs? I have to disassemble the rear coilovers and find out what's jacked up on one of them (the clunking one).

geez, sexual favors ?!? **** man, I'll even rotate the tires for that
Seriously though, just need a time and a place really, with time probably being the pita lately. Speaking of pita, my car completely drowned today and stalled on me. It finally started back up but it took over 10 minutes, and that was 10 minutes of sitting right smack dab in like 2.5 ft. of water right in the middle of a feeder in front of 100's of pissed off cars trying to turn right in the same place where I tried to 3 seconds ago before the car died. The water was so thick it pushed in my grill mesh as well. Not only did nobody offer to help, they were actually honking at me and ****, like I planned the whole thing...ugh... thank goodness there's always tomorrow, today was crap

As soon as they arrive we can make plans for doing the swap. They get here in two more days so anytime after that I'm good.

Perhaps while we are at it, we can get mord taken care of...

Ahah, you = Chris....brilliant!

If everything goes right w/ the MCAT, I should be buying a used Greddy around September 10th...knock on wood.

It's incentive.

I'll have my own garage to do all the work in after 8/9. Empty house and empty garage.

In/Out...quick just like most of the others...I sometimes have the option of lingering on-site, however I have a project that needs to be completed ASAP...thus I have been trying to stay in Austin as much as possible until it gets done...

Have not really done much of anything else except research and development for meow...don't really know what's going on outside of my office...haa

Canary, Mazsport has the cooling for 129.95. I won't get this until the end of the month. I really want the canister set and their type 3 kit!

yeah, type 3 is nuts, my car is running perfect right now so I'm leaving it alone for now engine wise. I'm getting 20mpg, and I've had 2 people try and race me or whatever and both times I just toyed with them, was able to keep uo behind them w/o issue, in the past my poor car would bog, die, sputter, they would drive off laughing etc etc
