Stereo changeover, AGAIN for the 5th time! new rear enclosures, getting rid of the box and moving to some fiberglass enclosures for the rear corners. kind of like 4080 boxes, made by a guy in DFW. Jorge from down there set me up with a killer deal! Thanks Jorge!

Now if he will just trade me his staggered fitment wheels!

Engine Bay:
installed a new Mishimoto radiator, fans, fan shroud and fan controllers. bought an alternator that will be powdercoated black and red from rotaryressurection. would like to do the BHR coil upgrade as well before show season. i have also completely rewired my ground systems as well as added the Buddy Spec Condensor, which made my stereo sound better.

Also adding a DVD touchscreen deck and Metra kit, new door speakers JL Audio. finally getting rid of the bose stuff.

 

Brakes: bought a spare set of front calipers to have powdercoated or chromed, getting ready to send them off. Set of SS Goodridge lines and Hawk HP Ceramic pads waiting to go on.

Alot of work to do in the next few months, not to mention my son Tanner is now 16 and working on his custom '86 squarebody chevy. I have one door suicided, about 10 hours of fabrication, and trying to find time to finish the other one. Following in the old man's footsteps and wanting to do the crazy mods! cut and boot the bed for 4-12's! We have also torn out the entire dash and will do a custom fiberglass one. His will be alot slower due to him having to make the money first for each project.

 

I'm not quite as far along as you are. I added a Tsunami front bumper and silver cf eyelids, rororpro slotted dimpled rotors w/ blue hats, painted calipers blue. I also bought a set of Stern ST8's 18x8.5 for winter wheels. I'll buy Volks or Advans after FI. Aem CAI is on the way as well as a Stage 3 Spec clutch and all super blue clutch and brake fluid. CF hood is next, hopefully have it painted before summer.

 

So... You got some extra sub boxes layin around huh Tom? I need to get some boxes for the 8. If you got something laying around that you want to get rid of, I'll gladly take it off your hands for a decent price. Also, if you need some help on the metra kit and touchscreen install let me know since I've done it three times now between my car and some of the guys I was hanging out with in Louisiana last summer. Oh, if you have any other parts you don't want anymore, tell me what they are and how much you want for them and we can see if there is anything I, or anyone else in the thread, may want.

 

saw a black 8, black rims with a red pinstripe pulling out of the bestbuy in moore. anyone claiming it?

 

Yeah a few things laying around, havent figured out what im keeping and what im selling. for sure the box will go. you saw it in Noble the black one with the faceplate covered in black suede. holds two 10's. the face plate is custom, with triple ring spacers laid on top of each other and tapered at the top of each sub. will take pics when it is all out of the car and let you know how much.

if my newly interested sponsor comes through, then i will have all new equipment, and will be selling my T1 dual 2ohm voice coil Rockford Fosgate pro series subs. im keeping the amps for my sons truck. he wants 12's or i would keep the tens as well. they are the same subs i had in during the IFO Noble.

I might have time for a quick meet this weekend. When i lived in Seattle we had Saturday morning meets which worked out pretty good because they didn't take a whole chunk out of the day. Maybe a meet and greet at a Starbucks or something?

How about Starbucks in Brick Town. There is a big parking lot off to the west side of it. As long as too many dont show up it should be good and a central location.

Big thanks to Jantzen for coming out Saturday morning. It was good to meet another forum member.

Next, we need to get a large meet togther. Probably need to plan now for something in April or May since apparently the weather is going to be crap for the next few weeks, and school is back in. I suggest we try and get a large meet together and try to include as many areas from the gulf region as possible. I know some peeps down in LA, but I am not sure if they would come to a meet in OK. Worth a shot I guess.
Let's get a list started of all the aspects of a big meet we would like to include. I figure since we are starting 5 months in advance on planning that we should be able to come up with some decent ideas. If the other regions can get big meets together, then why the hell can't we. So, lets begin the list:
