Gimlet, are you on .net? And, We need to have a meet, cuz I really wanna see your car, and take a ride in it (LOL drive it if you'd let me), because I'm looking very heavily into a lightweight flywheel, and I want to see how it act. And how do you like your INVO's cuz I had them (still have them in the front) but my rear tires wore out WAAAAY to fast!

Gimlet, how much does your flywheel weigh? I purchased a 9.25 lb flywheel from SR motorsports. Carlos at PR Performance in Tulsa installed it. Made a huge rev difference in the car. Would defintely like to compareI would be willing to come to OKC for a meet after my tranny gets replaced next week.

Hey, I'm just throwing this out real quick, as I'm going to post a new thread, but I figure it won't hurt to post it here. I have some RacingBeat Springs I need some help installing if someone/some people could give me a hand I'm willing to buy pizza, beer, things along those lines. And if we get a few people, we could have an informal meet lol

I installed my springs and am happy to help out. I'm out of town this weekend but could do something perhaps on the 8th or 15th...Just rent a spring compressor tool from Autozone.
I am on .net and phat7's as well. It looks like the phat7's guys are going to do something this weekend...I'll miss it tho.
The Prolite is 8.5# I believe - and yeah, made a huge difference. If we can get together for some install work (hell - we may be able to do it at my place) you are welcome to drive Jim.
LP - I'm calling you shortly about the shifter. Would love to see your '09 as well!
Oh yeah - Invo's - so far I really like 'em. They do wear kind of quick, but given you can rotae them corner to corner, the tread life ain't too bad. They are wonderful in the dry, but pretty quirley in the wet. I might consider them again when it is time -
And Biggin - perhaps heading out to Tulsa for the flywheel install at PR Performance might be worth the trip (see renesisjim's post). I'd also ping the guys on .net to see if they have suggestion -

man if you want to do something on the 8th or the 15th I'd be happy to, I have Ryan from Phat7's who said he would help as well. So, I figure the more people we get the more fun we will have, plus like I said we can have an unofficial get together. I've got 2 other friends I can probably coax into coming over and having fun w/ us all?

Hello, I just bought a 40th Anniversary Edition, live in Sand Springs. You mention "Carlos at PR Performance" Can you give me more details on this shop? I'm looking for a good shop in Tulsa to add performance parts, thanks!

honestly, spring/shocks/coilovers are pretty dang easy, you could easily do them yourself in a few hours. Honestly I think I could do my whole suspension (shocks/springs anyway) in just under 3.5hrs by myself. If you need help, I'd be more than happy to help you.

I am not to fond of the people at Nelson. They defintely don't want to stand behind what they sell and your looking at $100/hr labor. Carlos did my clutch and flywheel for $50/hr labor. He is going to put my transmission in after thanksgiving. The shop is just open part time though. It is his personal shop but he and it are both very professional. He is located at:

Thanks for the reply guys! I will give Carlos a call when I am ready to add new parts. Since the car is brand new I'm going to wait for awhile....
Appreciate the offer for the suspension work, again, not in a big hurry, the car comes with Bilstien shocks, who knows, I might keep em.
This forum is a real eye-opener, SO MUCH to read!!! After hours of pouring over all sorts of stuff I am going to do the following:
Pre-mix - Amsoil Saber Professional 2 cycle oil: 4oz per tank.
Engine Oil - Amsoil 10W40 Syn. Might try 20W50 in the Summer.
