Couldn't make it! 
I get off work @ 4:00 and go to my mom's place to pick up my kids. I have free time from 5:00 (wife gets home) til about 6:00. Right now I've been going to the gym at those hours and I had already told some friends I would meet them there.
I will have to drop off my car on a Friday, and hopefully he'll be able to have something done to it by the following day.
Is Martin still very busy? Has he got a new Cell yet?

I wasn't able to make it either. I'm STILL working on mailing out the remaining BBQ t-shirts. The good news is that they're all packaged up and as long as I can make it to the post office in time, they'll be going out tomorrow!!

yeah.. he still needs to do an alignment on my car... buff it... order and install the wing... install the appearance package... and other details!

I'm finally back after 36 days without my car, I've got it back. The bodyshop did a good job. It came to around $15000 in damage, but thanks to State Farm $500 out my pocket. Here are some pics:

Nice man... I will say that I noticed that the rear bumper looks a bit darker red...however, the MS skirt looks like the right red. Am I seeing things? or what?
Congrats on getting your car back ... I still need to take mine to the shop for some stuff, but I haven't had much time, and Martin doesn't answer his phone.

Okay I haven't talked to Martin in a long time either... but I'm sure he had told u guys that
he was opening a new shop and he's been wanting to do that for a long time. Maybe he actually did?
Also... he had mentioned to me that he was thinking of getting out of that business and into rental car claims instead... said there was less work and more money in that.

Dazy v. Martin update:
I went to the shop Tuesday night and Martin wasn't there. I waited with Joey (not Blue Six, a different Joey who works at the shop) and also chatted with Fred and Steve while I was waiting. Finally, Joey calls Martin at 7:30pm (he was supposed to be there at 6:30pm) and he's not coming - stuck in traffic. Joey relays the message that Martin really wants to settle this so to come back on Wednesday, same time, and he'll give me my money. Okay fine.
I went to the shop Wednesday night and again, Martin wasn't there. Great. Two days in a row, spend 1 1/2 hours in traffic each day, wasting my gas (aka wasting my money) for nothing. The shop looked empty but Joey was there. He comes out and relays the message that Martin isn't coming again, but that if I came back on Saturday, he'd give me my money. Based on my experience, the reality is that Martin will never meet me at the shop and the only way to get what I need is to go see him at his new job. So now I'm pissed. I'm really pissed. And you don't want to see me pissed, just ask the cable guy.
So this morning I drove out to Martin's new job and confronted him. I nicely, but firmly, explained that I wasn't trying to be a bitch by confronting him there, but he had failed to meet me twice after saying he would and that he never answers nor returns my phone calls, so he's left me with no choice. If this was a trivial matter, then I'd move on. But he owes me a large chunk of change so this is pretty important in my book.
We chat, outside, out of the boss's hearing range, about the car. We went back and forth on numerous topics of the car and everytime he tried to pull one over on me or say it's my fault or try to get out of somthing, I called him on it. To make a long story short, I got half of the money today. Actually, $20 short of half. I would have gotten it all but he didn't have his checkbook and he gave me all of his cash I'm supposed to meet him on Saturday to get the rest. We'll see.
Joey & Slim - I mentioned ya'lls names to him and that you both have outstanding issues that need to be resolved. Let's just say that didn't go over so well. You know how it is, you tell him that he's in the wrong and he puts the blame on someone else. I tried my best, but there's not much I can do for you guys. It doesn't help either that I don't know the intricate details of ya'lls situations. I can give details of my encounter offline, when it's all over, if it will help.
Martin is selling his shop to Joey (shop Joey, not Blue Six). The deal will be official via handshake this Saturday. I don't know what time. Martin is supposed to call me but if I don't hear from him by Friday, I'll be making some calls myself and see when that deal is happening.
