i just scheduled the day off from work.
I think i'll be waking up at 5 in the morning on that saturday, to begin the car wash.
Do ya'll realize how small 7-stock was when they first began? Our BBQ already seems to be HUGE and its our first year. Hmmmmm...

Wish you could be there Red. You know, you could always fly down for the weekend. I'm sure someone local would be willing to pick you up and drop you off, especially since the airport is just down the street!

oh this reminds me. Dazy... are we going to have name tags for our real names and our RX8club.com names? This sounds extremely lame, but i think its a good idea. It's a really easy way to break the ice, or we could all just get drunk... either way... its up to you.

The scary thing is when I went to Sevenstock last year, there were people who wanted to meet me. I just didn't know if it was to kick my *** or not! I hope this one won't be the same way! I've got just as many enemies as friends.

And where do you think you're going Killjoy? You better be hopping a plane to DFW... <shakes finger>
The BBQ organizers have been toying with the idea of name tags. We didn't have them at the OK BBQ and we thought that it would helpful. We'll probably have some type of identification factor, but we haven't pinned the specifics down yet. We've already nixed the idea of having alcohol at the BBQ (cars & alcohol don't mix) so that won't work, but you get an "E" for effort. :D
Don't forget to buy your t-shirt!!! The cut-off day for ordering will be soon so the shirts can be printed in time for the BBQ. Don't be the only one without a shirt!! Click on my signature to order.

Think of it this way guys -- Rotary Revolution is in the Central North, Sevenstock is in the West, the Brotherhood of the Dragon is in the East... Why not try to make this THE big meet in the South? We have the support and volunteers to pull it off, but we need people to attend. This BBQ could turn into the biggest meet in the South but it would be nothing if ya'll didn't show up!
Put your hesitations aside and take the plunge. If you've never met another 7 or 8 owner, have never met any of the local 8ers (because we're odd enough to be in our own category), have never done ANYTHING like this before -- who cares? Just register and show up! I personally guaruntee that you will not walk away disappointed.
