It is sad to see people take advantage of a disaster. There is not legitimate reason for the gas prices. Gas companies can quote it is an free market and demand is high so prices go up. But the demand is not natural, and the media and gas companies fuel the paranioa and excitement. The government needs to step in at this point and regulate.

Actually, we as consumers can have an affect on gas prices. If everyone were to boycott the largest company Exxon/Mobile with over $7 billion in profit for 1 quarter, then for them to compete, they would have to drop prices at their stations in order to draw customers. It's just like when the auto industry slows down, they give incentives like 0% interest, employee pricing and so forth. See GM was the first to do employee pricing then for Ford and Chrysler to complete, they followed. I say we all boycott Exxon/Mobile.

If ya'll are pissed off about gas prices right now just wait, the petroleum assocaition speculates that gas prices will hit close to $6.00 a gallon in the next month and a half. I hear about this everyday since I work for a software company that specializes in this sector.

RANDOM: Jess and I are cooking burgers and we had just put them on when all of a sudden our power goes out. We check the breakers inside, reset them all and nothing. We go outside to see if anyone else is effected and nope, it's just us. And yes I paid the bill. So we call TXU and they say someone will come out soon but they can't tell me when. I get a call a few moments later from TXU and the guy tells me that I need to reset the breakers outside. (There were breakers outside? ) So after walking around the whole building, I finally find the breakers and reset them and voila! power is restored. I'm not sure what we would have done if the power wasn't restored...... last time this happened we started drinking the beer that was in the fridge, had candles lit throughout the house and we went swimming fully clothed. :p Did I mention that this was in December?
And I'm sure you will all be happy to know that I got my first speeding ticket, since owning the 8, this past Sunday. I was clocked going 82 in a 60 in Carrollton. I knew it was bound to happen, but I'm surprised it took me 11 months and 2 days to do it. I should be thankful that I wasn't caught on 161... that's a road that begs to be driven fast on and I'm sure to oblige when I can. :D Isn't that right Jenkins?

HOLY ****, that is all that I can say after what I just saw. For those of you that don't know 8 is enough and I work in the same building him on the third floor and myself on the first; well evidently he has some rather large women on his floor named tiny, slim, and GOD DAMN that just isn't right. Well yesterday our elevators went out of order possibly from the cattle drive during lunch time, well I just happened to be outside when this stampede came rolling out for their smoke break. I have never really been a big fan of Chevrolet at all but after I saw this poor Chevy Cavalier bottom out when tiny sat on the trunk, I must give Chevy credit that would totaled out almost any other vehicle barring a Peter Built Semi.
