I spent 2.5 hours on my car today. I vacuumed, cleaned rims, cleaned engine bay, cleaned interior, added oil, washed, and cleaned tires. AND IT'S GOING TO RAIN TOMMOROW! It's just my luck!! Man it was looking good too.
...black is soooo hard to keep clean....

I got the job if I want it!!!!!!!!!
Yeah I'm pretty sure I'm gonna take it but I haven't called him back yet to confirm it. They even exceeded my salary request by a little, and offered full benefits!
Btw it's in grapevine. But I think I'm gonna end up moving just outside FW or somewhere close to that area. I'm sooo excited!
Ok everyone give me Five!

Well it's off of William D Tate Ave. Off of 114. I'm not real familiar Grapevine so I can't really say where in relation to anything.
I will be combining different floorplan options to create custom residences, and finishing the construction documents accordingly with the changes.
This will make it easier for me to get to some of the meets, maybe not right away since I will have a lot to take care of but definitley soon.

Has anyone paid attention to the mileage sticker after getting your oil changed from a Mazda dealership? I just got mine changed. I thought they always said it was due in 3,000 miles, but they actually put 7,500 on mine.

Did anyone hear about the most expensive car accident today. Supposedly two 17 year old girls from Highland Park were racing their fathers cars and wrecked a Lamborgini Murcelligo and a rare Ferrari valued over 2 million dollars. Total cost of the accident 2.28 Million dollars.

Another Ferrari (Enzo) bites the dust:
Rare Ferrari totaled in million-dollar crash
By The Associated Press and Los Angeles Times

MALIBU, Calif. — Authorities are investigating the circumstances behind a crash on Pacific Coast Highway that destroyed a rare Ferrari Enzo estimated to be worth more than $1 million.
The red Ferrari was going at least 100 mph when the driver lost control and struck a power pole, investigators said. The car — one of only 400 made — shattered, with its engine coming to rest on the highway.
Sheriff's investigators identified the owner as Stefan Ericksson, 44, of Bel Air, who escaped the wreck with only a cut lip.
"For $1 million, you get a very good passenger-safety system, and apparently in this case it did work," said Sgt. Philip Brooks of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Authorities said Ericksson told them that he was a passenger and that the driver was a German acquaintance he knew only as Dietrich, who he said ran into the nearby hills. A three-hour search failed to turn up anyone. Only the driver's-side air bag deployed, Brooks said.
"He destroyed one of the finest cars on Earth, maybe the finest," said Ferrari owner Chris Banning, a Beverly Hills writer who is finishing a book on the cult of sports-car racing along winding Mulholland Drive.
"It's like taking a Van Gogh painting and burning it."
Gil Lucero, a Mountain View, Calif., telecommunications company executive who is president and Pacific region chairman of the Ferrari Club of America, said only 399 Enzos were at first scheduled to be assembled at the factory, each priced at $670,000.
But a final car was built and donated to Pope John Paul II and later sold to raise $1.275 million for charity, Lucero said.
Ferrari fan Wally Clark, a Villa Park, Calif., insurance broker who owns two Ferraris — neither of which is an Enzo — said used Enzos currently fetch between $1 million and $1.5 million.
"I think the price went up another $100,000 with today's crash," he said.
The Enzo model "is a very serious car" whose 660-horsepower V-12 engine can accelerate from zero to about 65 miles per hour in about four seconds, Clark said. It can exceed 217 miles per hour.
"They'll burn rubber in every gear. You need to know what you're doing if you drive them on the street. You can't be blowing past people at 180 miles per hour on the freeway. You'll cause chain-reaction crashes behind you. I don't know who the yahoos were in it. It's a damn good thing they weren't killed."

I heard the story about the Lamborgini and Ferrari on 106.1 on the way into work. Supposedly the girls fathers are a high priced attorney in dallas and the other owns an exotic car dealership. I have been looking for the link to post the full story.

First off having an Enzo and not driving it like it is supposed to be IS the worst thing you can do. In order to truely enjoy that car you need to go fast and enjoy the accleration, handling and sound its a F*cking Ferrari for gods sake. You don't go and buy a Ferrari and keep it in the garage, nor do you only drive it on the track at speed. The owner took it out and was enjoying the car, that it was destroyed tragic but I bet all the other Enzo owner secretly cheered no one was hurt and the value of their cars probably went up an additional 50-100k due to one less on the road.
