Cool! I can't wait til you get it installed on the 8. I'll have to check it out! Congrats! Be sure to attend the next pool tournament at Rack Daddy's. Not sure when we'll have another, but everyone that participates will get a RIBBON! You don't even have to win, because we are all winners.

RANDOM: We're having a run of bad luck here in apartment #326. Jessie came home from work today and told me to look out the window at her car, so I did and what did I see? Her front end is smashed in too! I think her's may be slightly worse in the front though. An SUV (damn things, they really should be banned) backed up into her while she was sitting still at the mall parking lot. Front bumper, hood, left light for sure, maybe stuff under the hood. So now there's two hot blondes with two hot cars, both wrecked. Good times, peas and carrots.

Yes, she's ok and that is her RSX. She's super pissed though. The chick that hit her didn't have a license or insurance. Jessie said she barely looked old enough to drive, if she was. She's tried calling the girl's mom, but no luck so far.

No, she didn't think about it at the time. But she did get the plate number. The lady called her early this morning and said she doesn't have insurance but she's willing to pay the best out of 3 estimates. Jessie's going to have her insurance company work with the lady to pay as much as the lady can, as long as Jessie doesn't pay anything out of pocket.

Yeah, if that lady doesn't cooperate she needs to call the police. Sounds like everything will work out. Have her go to one of those Service Kings, they're kinda high :D Maybe she can get and aftermarket front bumber too :D

At least Jessie's insurance company is involved. It may even be a matter of her insurance company suing the owner of the vehicle that hit her.
I think that anyone that has an accident and no insurance should get an automatic 3 day jail sentence They need a little something to motivate their sorry asses to either quit driving or get insurance.

If the SUV that hit Jessie is fairly new, they should have insurance. I wished that Jessie did call the police when she found out that the other driver didn't have a license or insurance. She may not have been old enough to drive or there may have been a reason that her license was revoked. It also helps Jessie to have a police report in her favor. I mean, what was the other driver thinking? No insurance and no license means she should have had someone else take her to the mall, called a cab, or taken the bus. What probably happened was she wasn't suppose to drive, she ended up driving anyways and now she got caught. Your friend Jessie is really nice and I'm afraid that this may come back on her. She might get stuck with paying a deductible and then having to sue the other party in court to try and recoupe her losses. I really wish Jessie the best of luck in this situation. Maybe Dazy ought to ask her if she wants to go to Shreveport on Monday. Gambling and drinking may help to ease her mind and she may even get lucky at the tables to where it'll cover her deductible if it comes to that. Keep your chin up, because you do have your health

Hey, not to change the subject, but what are y'all's opinions on B-pillar emblems? I'm thinking about 'em, but haven't actually seen them on anyone's car.

Change of subject.... I just wanted to be one of the first to say CONGRATS to Shari! She's found herself a new fella. (see Shreveport/Monroe thread for more details). She sounded really happy and excited. She might even bring "Buzz" with her on the trip to Austin to introduce him to all the ladies.
