I learned yesterday that a co-worker sold his 90 mustang lx convertible with the 5.0 motor to another co-worker for $2500. I was like...dude! I've been telling you that I'm looking for a daily driver.

Custom Tires for RX-8
yup, I have a friend who owns a tire shop and does high volume business. What I wanted was to get some custom tires with white raised lettering (like racing tires) that said something like "Goodyear" one side and "RENESIS-EXILE" on the other. Something like that. Haven't worked out all the details. Do you think anyone else would be interested? I used to have a Matrix XR and put Goodyear Eagle NASCAR racing tires on it...very sweet!

I didn't have anything done to it...it just looked rather boring with the original tires, so I thought it would like much better. moding cars is a relatively new experience for me, as i had been quite the poor student for many years until rather recently :o
i'm looking forward to learning quite a bit from the rest of you. Did I mention that I was in love with my RX-8? :p I got busted today checking out my own ride!

Flying with some Air Force pilots during the day, but I have my very own cockpit on the road. She's under renovation right now. :D Maybe I should get a sticker with "Trixie" and put it on my B-pillar like the jets.

Trixie is a code word for "call girl" with fly boys so I don't think you want that

dazy, i guess you work at Lockheed-Martin? I met someone the other day who works there as a engineer mechanic type, told me that he had been working on the JSF and others before that. He told me that some F-111 had just been scrapped, and that he had worked on the F-15 Eagle too. The rx-8 is the closest I'll ever come to flying...probably the reason i fell in love with the rx-7 12 years ago.
