ok, a friend of mine was graduating from a trade school and they were using one of the halls at UTA for the graduation ceremony. Another friend of mine and I showed up with a tripod and a video camera. I told one of the faculty members that we were from the yearbook commitee and was video taping for the school. They let us set up in the balcony. After setting up our tripod and camera, we went back and grabbed the cooler. The cooler just had some diet cokes and ice, two cups, and a bottle of 151. After focusing the camera to were we would get everyone walking down the isle and onto the main stage, we started drinking. Well, one of us ended up bumping the camera so all we got on the tape was the tops of everyone's head as they walked the isle. I was found by the Arlington PD in one of the bathroom stalls passed out while hugging a toilet. my friend told me that the police had him pour out the rest of the 151 and there wasn't even a shot left. Well, they let us put our camera and stuff in the car and then hand cuffed us and took us to the station. I remember telling the cop that it wasn't necessary to handcuff me, because i'm too drunk to run. At the station, i also reminded the cop that they never gave us a field sobriety test or breathalizer. He was more than happy to watch me fail the sobriety test at the station. we were each allowed one phone call. I don't know what numbers i dialed, but I got ahold of Arlington Memorial Hospital. I remember telling the woman that that was my only phone call because I was at the police station and then asked her to transfer me to the graduation ceremony. She hung up. my friend called one of his frat brothers and they came and got us. I got a public intox ticket. that's all and the frat let us sleep it off before letting us drive.
