Recommendation for Mechanic in Katy, TX

I just got my 2005 AT RX-8 and wanted to find out if anyone know of a recommendation for a mechanic in the Katy, TX area that works on RX-8's. I want to get a name now before I actually need it, so I know who to call when I do need it.

Jtran I belive is who Sifu (a member actually from Houston lol) recommends around here. If it is something relatively simple, I'm sure one of the members here can help you (spark plugs, bolt on part, etc.).

Which part in Katy are you located at? If it is simple work like spark plugs and little things like that I know two shops that can handle that. In terms of performance you might have to travel a bit across town.

P&B is my friends shop off Clay near Greenhouse

Texas Brakes and alignments does some nice pricing.

Guys, thank you. This is exactly what I was looking for. I think I can handle the plugs, wire, etc, myself. The DIY posts on this forum are extremely detailed and give me a load of confidence, but now I know where to go when I mess something up.

Sifu, I'm in the Fry/529 area, so P&B isn't too far for me.

Aren't they the hole in the wall place next to Papa Johns? I have used them before and I really like the guy.

In terms of hole in the wall...I don't know too many. I find Texas Brakes and Alignment really cheap. But I rather go to my friends shop at P&B.

Performance and honest work I would go to Team Shift Point Garage. I am a friend of the owner and he is probably the only guy I would take my car to for good price/honest work. I didn't say anything about him in the recent post bc you were looking for locals. But I highly recommend this shop.
