OK fellas...here is a video compilation...a little over 9 minutes long. The quality goes to hell in a hand cart via photobucket and YouTube...so I just uploaded it to a free file share site.

The video is 51mb in size...If you want to download the original file to play with Riva you can download while at the site.

Anyways, ignore my coughing...allergies. As well as our senseless yammering...and yes the soundtrack in the background is sirius 70's and 80's hits.



I will put together another compilation of other roads as well...some of that footage wasn't as usable...bouncy hand held stuff. I know...I am slow!

 

video is good. sorry i was braking so much. like i had said this is the first run i had done with my car. i still need to get more comfortable im my car to be able to power thru the corners more comfortably. hopefully i will get better with practice.

I know! It is a crazy illusion. The other videos look the same...just doesn't communicate the exhilerating feeling of it nor the real speed we were going.

 

a friend wanted to come but she had some last minute stuff up that kept her from coming, now she is begging to take her. So maybe after the Texas 8, and i get new tires there will be an encore.

My friend wants to know why didnt drift thru the turns.... anyone want to respond to her?

Here is another video compilation...REALLY long 30+ minutes. This is the run from Kerrville to Stonehenge to 39 to 83...much larger file 150+mb.

We were stuck behind a couple of cars which really stunk, so as you will see I was letting the two leaders unwind down the road and trying to remember when it was good to reel them back in so the guys behind us could enjoy the twisties as much as possible.

Not sure if it worked or not...but I sure hope the guys behind me got more out of it due to the pacing!

Again, same annoying cough, same annoying commentary but really groovy music! Enjoy.

Great videos Kevo, I took me a few turns to figure out what you were doing to increase the fun factor but I now I know so i'll follow you anytime. Tell your wife she is cool as heck, my ex wife would have been bitching and complaining the whole time, haha. And yeah, I saw a lot of that BMW *** most of the day but i hope i was not too close at times.

Anytime you guys are down for a day run just let me know.

 

Yeah "FREAK OUT!"...love that song. I couldn't have gone much faster overall but could have carried more speed through the turns for sure. It was a great time!

Thanks man, I will tell her! Don't I know how lucky I am...the wife loves this more than I do...ok, AS much as I do. She was all about me getting the M and doing all the mods. She loves cars and loves driving them with me. She already wants to go back!

The bad thing is she has been wanting the new M3 Coupe Hardtop ever since she saw one back in November. Happy Wife = Happy Life.

 

For those of you interested, here are a few videos from last month's run the wife and I did by ourselves. Alot of fun...dodging armadillos!

It will quickly become obvious why I threw together a camera mount before this last run...hand held is not the best way to go.
