I think Richard has a place, but I thought it said earlier Dazy was staying in our room. When did that change?

 

We didn't have Fred listed on who was staying, he called me last night and said he was coming and then he just called me like around 2:30 and said he won't be coming. I swear, he's like a woman!

 

LMAO... I know what you mean! Josh changed his mind 4 times! I guess they have too much feminine in them. Oh well. Will Dazy have her car?

 

I'm not about to call and ask her. she was really grumpy about it earlier and ..... I'm just going to leave that one alone.

 

well Martin is finishing up some things right now for her car. he is planning on her driving it down to austin fromo what he told me.

Dang it! I wanted to go bid u goodbyes at the Rig! I wasn't able to go due to an
unexpected visit from my sister and her husband! GRRRR! I couldn't just say,
"Hey I gotta go for a few hours, gonna meet with the RX8 Club people!" :D

I had lots of fun though. It was fun getting to know you guys. I look forward to the next get together. I'll bring the FD out instead of the Miata too.

 

I had a GREAT time on Friday and really enjoyed meeting everyone. Thanks for a fun trip! :D

 

It was nice meeting you. I wish you could have stayed for the whole event. It was really an incredible time. Once my wife got over her "jitters" of being with so many people she did not know she had a fantastic time.
The bed and breakfast we stayed at was very neat. Built in 1877. I will post more pics of that later.
Hey, did anybody get pics of our girls dancing ON the bar at Coyote Ugly's? That was pretty hot.

I had a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone who helped pull this off. Also thanks for bearing with me on the car. I know there's already talk of another trip and I can't wait!

 

You know I did!!! It was down to the wire, supposed to meet at 6pm for dinner and we were waiting on glue to dry for the grille until 6:30!! Martin, Chris, Shari and I drank beers and celebrated while we waited. :D Had/have some tire issues and the short shifter is being mean (can't get into 5th or 6th so made the drive back in 4th), but it should be better in a few days. The car looks great. Martin does FANTASTIC work. I'm thinking about a custom paint job in the back to complete the flow of the kit, but that's a whole 'nother thread!!!!

Once again guys, HAD A BLAST! For those of you who know, Nyt-Owl's got a monkey and Aggie and I are coyotes!!! :D Sorry you couldn't make it Mr. Ed, but there's always next time!!!

 

You know I had some SERIOUS issues to deal with at the time if I wanted to take the 8 to Austin. Cut me some slack!! And at least I had the courtesy to warn you that I was in an unpleasant mood.....

When we were leaving Austin I was getting on I-35 and I look over and there is Jackie and behind her was Scott Talk about strangely cool timing.

lol, we stopped in waco to get gas and there was an 8 parked on the street at baylor. also saw 2 8s going opposite way. it was awesome

 

glad you guys had a good time. maybe next will be even more fun and we can all do something together rather than breaking up into groups etc..

 

well i definitely wish i could have made it. there should be another event after the heat of summer dies down. i will definitely try to make it. glad to hear everyone had a good time!
