Metallic or dyed? What's dyed? What happened to the traditional tint?

Metallic is supposed to last a wee bit longer than dyed. Dyed is the plain old -i.e. Llumar- 'tinted' film.

Even the a not so dark metallic will be too shiny, huh? Darn it!
I wasn't going to go for a red dyed or anything like that. Just the plain old dark tint @ 35%. The guys at Alta Mere are pushing metallic tint like mad cows. And I kinda liked the lifetime warranty on it.

So, metallic is yuky, huh?

I'm not a fan of metallic either. Go dark.

My tint is metallized film.

It is llumar and it is dark. It's not dyed nor is it shiny.

Dyed film turns colors.

You want metallized film.

The tint is on the inside so it shouldn't matter. It is not blocking the antenna.

OK Jeremy, which came first? The color of the room you're in or your 8? They look remarkably similar in color.

Man, that was fun and I'm whooped! <sigh> I need a nap. All this time on hour here, hour there naps is catching up (and I'm not considering last night "sleep").

We saw 2 8s on the road on the way back, one SS and one Ti Grey, but neither wanted to join us in the drive. Oh well...

Jump120's spoiler is SWEET! I'm 150% sold on the MS style. Happy Birthday to me... There was Mattshack's Shinka which looked awesome too. I recruited another Blue 8 that lives in Tulsa. I'm hoping Michelle joins the forum soon. :D

We got to hang with the big dogs (RX7ers) and I'd say we did a good job on the roads. Way cool to see the turbos going all out on the road. Check out the pics and videos if ya'll can.

I definitely plan on going again next year and I think Texas needs to do something like this too!!!
