Haha- Not really a competition per say... Mike has some tickets and we'll use those to draw for "door prizes". We should think of some games to play or something too though. Does anyone have any pistons laying around, Tony maybe your uncle has some (?). I saw on a board somewhere where they were planning a "piston throw" contest. lol. Or maybe we can do somethng like "Pin the piston on the pinto". That was lame wasn't it?!

Mike it looks like everyone's still game. There are a few on the 7 forum who's cars are "under construction" so to speak but are taking other cars. And some are carpooling, caravaning, etc. I've gotten a few pm's and phone calls asking "what time" so I too posted a "4PM reminder". I'll be picking up the ice today and starting to cook. Call me if there's anything else we need.

See you all tomorrow.

Damn, I didn't know it was at 4. For some reason I was thinking the Que was at 1 or so. Peter can't make it, and it's slim for me to make it but I'll try.

Well thanks Mike, to you & Connie for hosting the BBQ today. It was a great turnout and I had a nice time. I'm glad everyone (except tjb...) was able to make it. Can someone send me pics? lol. Yeah I had my camera but umm I didn't take any pics. I knew Roger would be snapping shots. Tony & Mike, it was good seeing you again. Roger, surfrgurl, John, Steve, Peter & Bill it was great meeting you. It was also nice to have so many 7's join us. Man there were def some sweet rides on Ave. E today! A big thanks also to Don Ducote Mazda & Racing Beat for our cool giveaways!

I had a great time too. I was glad I had an opportunity to see and hear the racing beat exhaust and intake.

Also, the 7s were pretty awesome.

Had a good time at the que for the short amt of time I was there. Nice to meet everyone. Wish I could've stayed longer but.....yeah

I'm finally getting home from all the other bday parties. Went out to Harrah's to try some luck... turned out pretty well.

Your not alone tonight Roger... I still can't sleep.

Thats the 8 that went to my boy's shop to get his windows tinted... and I just missed him. My boy said he was sitting on 20's with lambo doors.... I wanna check it out.

PS. That is a horrible picture! And no... you weren't drunk because we don't drink and drive right?

Adding my thanks to Mike and Connie for hosting such a cool event. It was great meeting all of you. I feel better that I'm not the only one with a passion for cars. Everyone keep in touch, maybe I'll see yous at the Z event at the Lake on the 29th.

I met him at John Ehret High School when I was picking up my daughter from Driver’s Ed one night. I told him about this site and about our BBQ. He didn’t seem too enthused ~shrug~

Oh… and right!
