Sorry I'vre been away form the forum for some time. Too much work.

In any event, I would be glad to join in with fellow RX8 owners.

I obviously missed the ealrier meeting(s) but if there is another one planned, please post the place and date here and i'll be there. Thanks.

Hi friends,

This is off topic but I think interesting. Have any of you in the North Dallas area seen a hot dark haired girl driving around in a black supra? I have seen this girl twice in the last week and I may or may not be in love. Granted I only caught a small glance both times, and it could have been the supra I was in love with, but I think she is hot and has a great car. Am I the only one who has seen this chick?

Make sure you all keep an eye on the www.road-club.com boards as well..
Membership is free so feel free to join. If you give me a valid email address, I can send announcements on events.

Our next event will most likely be speed zone if we dont have a few local gatherings before then. We're also looking to see if we can get a group deal on race driving school at TMS.

I'll let you all know what comes up.

Also, DrKilljoy is working on a huge statewide event and I'd love to have a large group there.

Well, a "performance" driving school, http://www.panozracingschool.com/ to be one of the 2 that we're looking at.
Motorsports Ranch is another that we're looking at talking with.

Folks, I highly recommend The Drivers Edge for road course instruction. Contact Rick, and he might be able to put together a group rate for you guys at an event of theirs.

Eh I posted in the General Forums, theyre totalling it out for 28k so I'm trying to figure out a way to make up that difference some how.

I may pay the salvage depending on how much it is and try and make up some of the diff by selling the remainder of my parts. (Leather seats, anyone? )

Man.. I'd love to pull the driver seat and put it on my passenger side if i could reverse the electric controls....

I could use one of those rims too to replace mine w/curb rash..

Max, sorry to hear about your loss...
If you really do pay for the salvage I would be interested in some parts.

If you can pull the 6 disc changer out how much would you want for it?

And if its possible to remove all of the Nav system components I might try and buy them off of you too. I would even be willing to come down and help you pull the parts. (I live in Frisco)

Nope, the salvage fee was around $7k so unless anyone wants the 'remains' for more than that, I won't be salvaging it.

Hello Everyone,

Great to see that there is finally a club for us RX-8's. I have checked out the site and it's awesome, can't wait for the next event; we should defintely look into a track day or something. In case yall are wondering Ill give you some stats on myself.
My name is Mike, and I live in Plano, Parker and Tollway area.
Im only 17 but I think I will easily fit in with everyone. I can't say that I bought it myself but I do pay insurance and for all mods, so maybe that earns me some respect.LOL. I drive a red 8 with borla exhaust, re intake, and in 2 weeks will have cz stage 1.

I'll take my turn to abuse of the 'newbie': you'll definitely have to take me for a ride..I am curious about the CZ unit.

Ah-wha?!
What kind of Supercharger? If it's a roots or screw type supercharger I'd definitely be interested in dropping 5 grand on the kit.
