San Antonio Emergency help needed!

So my clutch pedal had been squeaking for a while and I finally decided to order the support bracket. I got everything done and was putting the last nut (well, one more plastic nut but that one doesn't count) when I lost the nut that was originally on the car. The bracket came with 2 nuts and bolts for that same spot as supports during installation so I used one of the nuts from that. While I was tightening it, it came to a point where it wouldn't tighten any more so I started loosening it. It was getting late so I decided to wait till today and I've found the problem which is what I need help with.

It seems the nut on the other side has loosened or something. When I try to loosen or tighten the nut, it moves the entire bolt instead of the position of the nut. So I basically need help in finding a way to get the interior nut off and tightening the nut towards the engine bay.

Edit: need to get this done as soon as possible since I can't drive till that bolt is tightened completely.

Bump!

I only have o e idea left... Thinking I can use some pliers to hold the bolt while trying to get the nut off but not sure if that will work or f I'll just end up damaging the threading. If anyone could give me a hand today or tomorrow I'd really appreciate it. I'd much rather not have to get it towed somewhere for this. I'll buy whoever helps a beer or something in return.

If you need help let me know. Were you able to hold it from the top? I know one of the guys had his wife hold it from the engine bay while he was in the car so I'm sure we could manage. I'm at work til' 6PM but Let me know.
