SARX Statewide warmup run

Yup that's right... we will be doing a warm up run to see what kind of drive time we will be looking at for the Statewide.

Saturday Feb 20, 10am
Meet at the Gold's Gym on 1604 and Bandera

Okay, buddy but I hope you fixed your spark plug/coil issues because we don't granny shift. We live our lives one quarter mile at a time.

well actually we will prolly be cutting out the kerrville portion of the run.

This is to see how long it will take us to run at normal speeds not the 35mph that google calculates at.

Whats the estimated mph? How long do u think the run will be?

depending on the stretch of road i would say 60-70 on the open road and then speed limits in the small towns

Attention All RX8 Owners:

The belts for our cars are more rare than black diamonds so if you have a high mileage (mine were replaced once before) RX8 please check your belts before the statewide run.

For those who were not there; my water pump belt disintegrated at 8,000RPM and Grungepup and I covered 300 miles trying to find a replacement belt without luck so we had to leave my car at a ranch and head back to SA to get one.

So we are headed back up to repair it and hopefully my car is safe

after repairing it and discovering other problems we were finally able to limp the car back to the house .... updates to follow later
