sensor missing???

so i took my intake out to do the tb bypass, and noticed that the large "goldish" clip on the intake had nothing clipped to it, and a pretty detailed search revealed nothing... So what is this sensor and what's it connected to? the other smaller sensor, which i assume to be the vfad controller, is also missing one vaccum hose. I'll post up pics tomorow if it'll help.

If the clip is on the air box, then its probably the clip that holds the VFAD vacuum chamber.
And your VFAD "controller" is probably the VFAD solenoid.

Did you get this car used?
Someone might have removed the hoses for the VFAD and just left the solenoid in place.
If this is the case, you should have the nipple behind the throttle body capped too.

Pics will help clarify this.
