Service at Mazda of Clear Lake/BAD?

Went AGAIN to have the right rear tail light fixed.
Yes, condensation . Under warranty
I was told it had been fixed back in Oct 07 when I last took it in for the same problem
Was told that...well it can happen over and over.

I said BULL, if it was fixed it should not happen again and again.
If they fix it and it happens again, then its a design flaw. What if it happens
after the warranty expires? Customer pays for Mazda design flaw?

I thought the right one was not fixed last time, just the left one.
He said no the puter shows it was fixed..THIS GUY LIES ..AND SMOOTH AT THAT.

So they take the car into the shop. I got there a bit before 9AM.
After about 2 hours, I decide to go and look at the progress.
Was told by one CLOWN, ryan that I could not go into the shop...insurance rules..blah blah blan

I demand to talk to the manager..after about 15/20 minutes he arrives
We chat. He says..customer is not allowed in the shop...ALONE
but can go in the shop with a company employee, ie tech or the clown

So why did the CLOWN not offer to escort me to my car?

Told the manager if I get treated that way. They don't need my business.
I can go elsewhere, In fact I had already been looking at another dealer

Manger takes me to my car. Tech is working on it.
GUESS WHAT?

He says, rear right tail light has/had not been fixed. Still has old seals!
but they replaced both!! Mazda will pay for them anyway!!

So what gives?
First time they would only fix the one that showed condensation. Did not fix the one that did not show water even after I told them it also had condensation a week before.
Now they fix BOTH, when I asked for them to fix the one that had water.
Heck the left one had been fixed last Oct.

Told the first person that the right one had not been fixed. so he says...well the puter says both were fixed..LIES again.
I saw the computer printout the tech had on the Oct repairs on my car.
It said..only left one fixed

I guess I will be changing STEALers.
The service manager was nice/customer friendly. He told me to give them a second chance..but not sure if I will

Get a life dude.. I don't think you need to tell him to not goto your shop. From the looks of it, I don't see why anyone would waste their time with you.

Oh wow he signed on a created a profile just for that , getting on a RX8 site and dissing people who owns them really doesnt make sense, kinda childish really , people are going to have bad experiences randomly with places they go all the time and its his opinion due to a bad experience. And it doesnt help to say your not a clown and then your profile name reflects other wise!

Ive been going there for 1 yr and a half, Ive seen 3 Management Changes, ive never had a problem till now with these mazda monkeys what does that tell you ryan,trey......LOL, that is funny, maybe if yall did some decent work, when i got my sunroof done, they left grease fingerprints all over my headlner, i mean allllllllllllllll over, it didnt make sense, and i told one of the techs, and hes like "F*ck" very professional, i have free oil changes for life on my car, keep in mind ive been going there for 1 1-2 years, and the black dude is like, hey, these oil changes are good every 5,000 miles, but im like, it should be done every 3,000 miles, why the hell does he care, is he paying for them? nope, id rather drive 40+ miles to a dealer that will actually take time to do good workmanship,

ok, here's a little food for thought for some of you fast and furious wannabes. just keep in mind i work in service. so how many rx8's do you think i see with more than 60k miles? guess what, i can count them on my hands! why you ask? 99.9% of the genius' that buy an 8 can't work on it. The same 99.9% of those genius' are cheap. you people are known as "warranty welfare cases".
honestly, why did you buy the car? because it looked cool? or because you saw a movie? did you ever investigate the problems this car has? no, you bought a car because you were told it was cool, probably by a salesman. go figure. that's a great way to be original, buddy.
p.s. please drive 40 miles to get your work done...your warranty will expire sooner. you big spender!

i like the way you report me and try to get me kicked off. nice try. so an EXTENDED warranty is mush different than a FACTORY warranty. They dont cover tail lamp gaskets and little petty nonsense. they dont really cover much at all. they are a waste of money. essentially, you got ripped off. and 150K miles out of a rotary? wow!! good luck with that. do you know how many rotary's i see with more than 60k miles? i can count them on one hand. that car will be parted out way before your extended warranty is up. think about it, how many rx7's do you see on the road? none. because idiots like you buy a car they cant work on and dont understand. thats why the best place to find an rx7 is in the junkyard. you have no business having that car its way too complex for your little brain. and mid 30's? homes im 28. and i was BROUGHT me here to fix problems. im not going anywhere. and i like how you make it sound like MY tax dollars paid for your car. dont you and your parents pay taxes too? nice try.

Begone, clownboy.

i suspect the reason he never sees a car over 60k is that the warranty has run out and owners are running somewhere else
