WOW, ServiceAdvisor. Who cares what the names you speak of own. You might as well go blow them by the way you talk about them. I've had service done to my car at C.L. Mazda 2 times and I wasn't satisfied.

This is completely classic. Also, admins, if you are tracing IPs, are people getting fired? I mean, the reason a dealership sells cars and gets people to return to the dealership for service is reputation. If ClearLakeMazdaClown and ServiceAdvisor are really employees over there, they should have been no longer allowed on the property after posting.

I've wondered about this a lot, and I would love for a service shop to provide an insurance binder that says no customers are allowed in the shop. I think the real reason is the management doesn't want customers wandering around the shop and aggravating mechanics. But let insurance be your scapegoat. It works.

Someone check me on this, but I believe the service bulliten on Rosenthalmazda noted that Mazda discovered the issue and corrected the rubber seal issue with better quality seals. I might be wrong.

ok, here's a little food for thought for some of you fast and furious wannabes. just keep in mind i work in service. so how many rx8's do you think i see with more than 60k miles? guess what, i can count them on my hands! why you ask? 99.9% of the genius' that buy an 8 can't work on it. Secondly, as a consumer you should consider the fact of regulations set by the corporation. Not just Mazda, every manufactuer sets strict guidelines in which the dealership (who is not the same organization as the manufactuer) must abide by. Service advisor plays the role of the middle man for a middle man. He is you as the customers link to the dealership, who is actually a link for you to the manufactuer.
As a service advisor, we are told by our management ABSOLUTELY no customers allowed in the shop. Now if management wants to "crawfish" on their decision and allow you then it is by no means your advisors neglect at his job. There are two reasons to not allow a customer in a shop. A.) Insurance purposes, obvious right? B.) How the **** do you like someone sitting over your shoulder all day long asking you questions and monitoring your work? You don't like it and neither do technicians while they are performing your tedious repairs.
Ryan- Great guy, fun person to work with, and very smart. But just as anyone else would when blasted pubicly about the performance of his job, he got ticked and defended him self. Mr. Mullet, you had no right to blast this man publicly and disclose information about him.
Trey- I would love to see any of you go heads up with Trey about a rotary engine, but you will probably have to wait until he is done with one of his many MASTER TECH Competitions. Guy is ASE Master Certified, Rotary Engine Master Certified, Advanced Engine Performance Certified. Which one you can vouch for that kind of credibility. Has one of the sickest RX7s I have ever seen as has been asked by Mazda for he and his car to represent many of the events, such as Houston Grand Prix.
As far as a seal going bad in RX8 tail light... Look around dude every one of those things seems to have that problem here. Whether its the humidity wearing that seal or I am not sure those things are horrible and Im not sure it is a design flaw neccessarily by Mazda because I have no idea if that problem persist in other climates. But just think... Its a rubber seal? How terribly hard is it to believe that seal went bad two times in a year. Once again, not Mazda of Clear Lakes problem, if anyone its the japanese manufactuer.
I don't work with Mazda's, I work on the Volvo side, and whats the comment about "lol its a Mazda-Volvo dealership"... By the way typical owners of a Volvo are educated middle age people. Do you really want to be the one clowning on Volvo? What does that say about yourself? Ouch... I understand its all good because your broke *** can't afford a Volvo... Thats why ya'll drive those pieces of ****. Thats why you will continue to feel like a great RX8 Fan, because 90% of your life is dedicated to reading about them... How to fix them.... And if you are so damn confident that your RX8 will live so damn long because you know how to work on them.... then why were you at a repair facility? Ironic.

Second, please come to one of our meets. I'd love for you to. We're not a bunch of *** hats who don't know anything, and most of use are not penny pinching welfare cases. Really, I'd like to see if you're a real person that really works at this dealership. So now come to one of our meets, not to bring this argument more personal than these attacks have been, but to show that you have something to say for yourself when you're not behind the keyboard also.
Lastly, do you really think you're doing your employer a service by getting on the forum and trying to defend your friends and employer by insulting us? I have to say that if you really do work for the John Eagle companies, I'll never buy anything from them. The really sad thing is that even with the bad rep of Clear Lake Mazda, I'd have still considered buying something from a dealership in that family untill ya'll got on here and started bashing everyone. I've had bad service at a couple of dealerships in town, but I've had good service at those same dealerships. Everyone is different, every problem is different, and every service experience is different. With that said, actually logging onto a forum and insulting people shows a complete lack of customer service and the desire to make the product you're representing something people want. That is a real problem that nothing but a change in attitude can fix.

65k+ miles here, daily driven, and purchased way before it was in any feature film so no I didn't buy mine because it "looked cool". (haven't had too many problems either, other than factory defects being corrected, which is common with any car.)
Hopefully there's just a bunch of trolls here and not actual employees, it'd be a pity to think people this moronic are actually "helping" people with their Rx's, or anything for that matter.
