thanks! If you had yours down there I can't believe I didn't see it, I was looking all over the place trying to figure out who I was competing against as the classing was confusing to me. Am I the only one who is bothered by seeing people like Circuit City and Best Buy down there? (or at shows period) It's not like they do any kind of custom work, all they do is sell the stuff or basic installs, there's no fiberglass or extensive mods to what they do, seems a little bandwagonish to me but oh well. It took us over 6 hours to get there on Friday, as we ran across these guys who had trucks on trailers and were acting all jacked up trying to run my buddy off the road and all that, throwing bottled water at him, big gulps, etc etc. They ended up getting popped because they rear ended someone in Driscoll (the guy who they were really after apparently, and they thgough my friend was connected with him so they went after him as well) and then got tickets for road rage. It was one messed up drive down there, but we survived and came out with a trophy lol We are probably going to do a little more before heatwave, I'll post pics when we get things going.

 

I didn't enter the show, I just followed Jenkins.

It took us about 8 hours to get there, and took me 10 to get home. Of course we had a casualty on the way home, hit fog, and traffic sucked.

 

just saw the thread, man that sucks. if it's any consolation, I almost took out the inspection station on the way back, cones came out of nowhere and we were haulin' ****...doh! Thank God the 8 has good brakes or there'd be another good new-bad news thread from me as well.

I work in downtown Austin, and sometimes I see a black 8 on the corner of 6th and Colorado. Does that belong to anyone here?

I also see a silver 8 with a spolier on I-35 south going into town for work a few times a month. I try waving, but I don't think he's on the look out.

I also met a girl in an elevator that has a yellow rx-8, but I've never seen her on the road.

And apologies go out to the tit-gray 8 on the feeder of 71 before manchaca, I didn't mean to cut you off, but the SUV was blocking the sight of the stopped car in front of me as I was changing lanes. this was on the 8th of march, somtime after 6pm.

Did anyone here have a white RX8 with front and rear splash guards, spoiler and red painted calipers in for service at Hiley Mazda in Hurst today? Very sharp by the way. Our license plates were identical except for the third digit. The third number of the plate on the white one was 7 and mine is 8. I guess that means they came off the line one right after the other?

 

Spotted a WB on the road behind Fry's in Irving this afternoon, waved/rev'd.

 

Spotted a yellow rx8 at fudruckers parking lot lakeline mall friday night.

Spotted a TiGrey going south on Old Denton Rd, north of George Bush in Carrollton yesterday around 5:45pm. Tinted windows with a sticker or magnet on the driver's side near the rear. I was going north and I waved.

Spotted a white going west on 30 near downtown FW today around noon. I also waved to them!

I keep seeing a white 8 on lower greenville. i see you at least twice a week, and was wondering who you are. WHO ARE YOU, and is the food that great?? i waved earlier this week near snuffers, and you waved back, just wondering if your on the forum.

 

Titanium Gray (with Oklahoma plates) at Fry's in Irving, looked like it had a nice set of 19's and rotary accents. Saw a silver shortly after in the same parking lot.
