Stupid Texas weather!
Great, two days off from work and cant go drive cause of stupid ice and now it is snowing....GREAT!!!
The only benefit so far is that I was able to install my amp in preparation for my sub box.

Dude, now's the best time to drive.
Go to a wal-mart, local mall, or some other place with a bigass parking lot. Go the far edges where there are no parked cars, no people, and no bigass lights with a concrete base. Turn off your DSC and HAVE A ******* BALL :D
EZ drift fun that's easy on your tires!

Yes. The 8 is pathetic in the snow, probably mostly the fault of the tires.. but I had to get a running start through an intersection today to make it off some ice.
I keep meaning to get a sandbag to throw in the back of the car..

The "drive" home was hellish. I'm calling in tomorrow unless the roads improve. I had to "shoot the gap" today with oncoming traffic because i needed to get a rolling start to make it over some uphill ice on the way home. Lots of reverse + slow driving forward(oncoming cars.. brake/reverse/repeat) it was retarded.
Its entirely my fault for leaving the tires on it but we just dont seem to get the weather enough to make it worthwhile.

This weather messed up my whole weekend. Me and a couple friends were gonna go 4 wheeling, we were looking forward to it all weekend. And although I like riding my raptor in the mud I wasn't gonna go in the cold.

It's raining here at my house about 30 miles north of downtown Houston. It's right at or very near freazing as there is ice acculumating on my car but not on the streets (yet) and it's still rain falling and not ice or sleet. It's only a little after 7 pm now so I suspect that will change very quickly.
It's global cooling!!!!!!

I'm loving this weather actually, free days off, get to hang out at home and relax, and whoever said go out and drive must be smoking something, Austin people can't even drive in the dry, wouldn't chance this shizzle for anything. Although, on the other hand, most folks will probably be to skurred to drive anyway. Here's some shots from around the house:

Not only snowed ((less than an inch)) here in SA....but we are having a ice storm as well...power down in alot of the city ..........got out to my car and it was covered in a layer of ice....couldn't even open the door or trunk without having to pour hot water on it for awhile...drove over to my friend to pick him up after work.......had shaved door handles and the car doors were frozen so he couldn't pop them open :

wow, so I drove to school today only to find out that it was closed... No problem... Doing fishtails in the massive college parking lot was worth the non-iced roads I had to deal with...
Although I did see the aftermath of a car accident on 1960, the bridge east of 45 had some 4 wrecked cars... I really didn't have any problem with driving though...

dang dude, your driveway looks like a deathtrap, mine was the same way, and the street was even worse, patches of ice all hidden all over the place. Thursday supposed to be pseudo normal, we'll see 'bout that. lol

The 8 is tucked neatly in the garage.
The 7 hasn't been so lucky this week. It's a ball to drive with DSC off really drifts nicely with all 4 wheels spinning but it's still front biased on the drivetrain - you've got to pitch it into a drift and sort of balance the throttle and steering a bit differently then RWD. Taking a cloverleaf entry is a real treat though. The AWD hooked up a perfect drift on bumpy ice - so nicely I wanted to get off the road, go back and do it again!
