Texas State Wide Event!! Oct 24th-26th
Decided to start a new thread with the infomation, so here it is.
Here is the plan for the Texas statewide RX8 meet on Oct. 24th-26th
It is going to take place in the town of Kerville, which is west
of Fredricksburg and Austin. It should be a good location for
everyone to get to. Kerrville is a location that other car groups
go to because of the long stretches of twisty roads that they have
to drive/cruise on not to mention there is a hotel that we can stay
at that only charges about $50 a night. The hotel rooms come with
a fridge and microwave incase you wanted to bring your own food, plus
there is a continental breakfast available to each guest. We are able to block
off around 20 rooms, so I will need to know how man people plan on coming.
It sounds like we have a good size group of people that are wanting to
take part in this so I will be sending out a flier with all of the info
on the event once I get the hotel info. We are still looking at doing
this on the weekend of Oct. 24th-26th, The plan is to get to the hotel friday
night sometime so that we can start the drive early in the morning and then get
back to do a BBQ or something, so mark your calenders and let me know if you for
sure are planning on coming.
For those that want to come please let me know if you would rather go
out to eat on that Saturday night or if you would rather have a big BBQ.
Again this is just a remeinder with more info, I will have more infomation
in the coming days, but please let me know if you are planning on coming.
If you plan on coming please post up a notice with your name and how many
people you plan on bringing (such as what is listed below)

Steve -
I realize you are a young guy, but after you drive those roads from 9A to 5:30 or 6P, your butt may be draggin and it might just be that sitting down and letting someone serve you might be the ticket. The J-O Ranch Steakhouse is pretty awesome and they have a separate area where we can eat.
But then again that is just an old guys opinion.

You can most likely count me in for this. By the way, I'm from Boerne/San Antonio so I know the area pretty well. I can use this as an excuse to visit family...no? So it'll probably be me +1

My wife and I are probable.
BTW, any of the roads in and around Kerrville are EXCELLENT for a drive. Lots of twisties, much of it is very scenic.
Couple years ago we did a scenic drive in that area in my wifes old Convertible and it was a blast.
