Hmm it was the Whitten in kerrville that you guys had called right?? That Jeremy guy told me he was the general manager so maybe he travels from hotel to hotel.

Well I went ahead and booked my room as well. Sounds like they still have a few full size beds available....all the queen and kings are taken......and yes the deal of $49+ tax is still good......I talked to Shuana and she hooked me up!! haha.

 

Actually, that was the Flying Pig and it didn't have any pulled pork on it. As a side note, I won't be getting that sandwhich again.

I have a friend who lives in Kerville so I might see if he wants to go. I'm not sure if I can even afford the gas to go right now. The hurricane has put a few people I know on hard times and I'm helping them get back on their feet.

Plus I'm past the wear bars on my tires. I need to buy new ones soon and I'm kind of broke now.

 

I really want to make this gathering. I will do everything I can to be there, but with IKE damaging alot, I will have to see what is happening. Any one else from the Houston area willing to pool together for the trip??

 

I would love to see a bunch of people from Houston there but it is understandable if you guys are not able to make it out. I hope everything gets back to normal for you guys as soon as possible.

Change my oil, wash the car with 4500 miles on it not too much needs to be done. This is gonna be fun. Going to Arkansas the weekend before with the other" group to run the twisties up there.

 

i hate to do this but i might not be able to make the state meet. the 8 goes to mazda tomorrow its having bad loss of power and a major misfire issue. so all the money i have right now is going towards gettin it fixed. ill know in a couple days if im gonna have the money to go or not. right now its not looking so good.

i brought it to hiley in arlington since its closest and had to bring it in before going to work today. i made special arrangements with them yesterday to have it there at 7 am. got it running ok but i still need to replace 2 more coils the wires and all the plugs. so state meet is out of the question now. this really sucks big time, i was looking forward to a weekend with a bunch of 8s.

 

Sorry to hear about all that bro, I am pretty sure that we will have another one though. Depending on how this one goes we could have more then one a year.
