How many people usually show up to the Weds meeting? How far is Rudys BBQ from say WM Cannon@I35? Now that Im graduating I will have the chance to make it up to Austin (I hope).

Hey buzzards, a lot of folks show up for the meetings, usually anywhere from 10 to 15 cars as it's our most popular event. (sadly lol). I live nearby the area you described, the Rudy's location is farther up north. If you were coming in from S.A you'd want to stay on 35, exit on 183 going North, and then look for the Duval Rd. exit. You would take the Duval exit, loop underneath 183 and start heading back south and then Rudy's is right there on the access road.

PM me if you need more details or a cell phone number so I can guide you in, you're probably looking at an additiona 20 miles from the area you described.

It looks like I won't make this meeting. I wanted to drive my FD up there since I haven't taken it out for a long cruise yet, but the damn headlight cover flew off during a "spirited run" (my own fault) and I don't think the new one will be painted by Wednesday. It would just feel wrong to attend a meet with the cover missing (it's no big deal but looks terrible). Hopefully next month.
