There is a race in OKC that day. I will be attending that. You guys are more than welcome to join. I think it is only like 20 bucks or so.

I'm in need of an exhaust flange. Does anyone know where I can get one or if they have their old system and wouldn't mind cutting it off for me?

I thought that might have been you Rotary. Thanks, I just got the hood 2 days ago and just put a BHR rad in her today. I'm tossing up a MS or RB wing. Is yours the VIS replica? Your kit is super clean looks authentic. I'm changing to Tein S-techs next week. My racing beat rear springs are sagging really bad.

So, I'm thinking about upgrading my suspension by going to the Tein Flex coilover system, any thoughts on this?

OK. We are meeting at the QT in Catoosa across the highway from Hard Rock casino at 12:00pm Sun May 30th to go to ND's to do some mods (maybe) and run a few twisties (FOR SURE), and just hang out. All are welcome.

Are you going to be putting your rear springs in on mod day? or will they be in by then? I dont think we will have anything to mod that day. Unless someone wants to trade jen parts like headder for manifold and someone who is dang good at taking off and puttin on. From what I heard from my friend collion he said header was pretty fun to put on.

You don't need to change out your body parts unless you want to. Sunday sounds like a fun day but I will be in okc auto crossing.

how did you guys get the muffler off of the rubber hangers?

nvm guys...it took a bit of an effort but I got it. I think I'll just drill out the hangers a lil bit.

If you want to really start tracking it, they would be ok. They will have a harsh ride, especially here in OK where the roads suck.

For a daily driver, I would do a nice spring/shock setup. Maybe some Tein S-techs w/ some Koni Yellows or some tokico d-specs. You would save almost $1000, that you could use for a Cobb AP and some sway bars.

Jenifer-

I would love to swap you for your header. If you want it back after you're car is finished, just let me know. I won't need it for turbo. I don't want to put my springs in because of the alighnment.

So, is putting new springs and shocks something I can do easily or would it be a better idea to have someone else do it?

you can do it. The back is really easy. The front was more time consuming. You will just need an alighnment after. I have a place that will install them and align the car for $300. I suggest waiting a few days before getting an alignment to let the springs settle or you will have to do it again.

If you choose to do it. I'll help you. I think with both of us and the
forum, we can get it done.

Hey guys. As usual last night was a blast! Good to meet a couple of others in the local area, now if we can get everyone together that would be cool! Hope to see everyone out here for the mod day Sunday. I believe this is also going to include a run on 82 as well so we can strech the ole' 8s legs a bit as well. So if you can make it i believe the meet time is noon (Jim - Really correct me if i am wrong here) at the QT by the hard rock in Catoosa, with a "staging" at Harps in Locust Grove. at about 12:45 the way jim drives should be more like 12:10.......Dont worry about parking at my house I have plenty of grass. So bring your tools, and if you want we can fire off the grille as well.
