hahaaa i did ballet for 17+ years...some of the studio peeples are trying to get me to teach a few classes there but no time!! bambina is in ballet 9 1/2 hours a week...we go mon-sat...but she just had recital on saturday and that girl rocked the show with 6 costume changes and mini solo's cuz of her skillzzzzz so she can use a day off lol. (pics in my profile photo album of her leap, jaw drops will be expected!!)!! we normally spend the entire weekend poolside (with spf 85 for our brown tushes!!) so a mid-week treat is gonna be fun.

so spf 85 huh? wow TX gets way to hot in the summer. i have alot of family in SA. spent a summer out there and came back darker then i've ever been lol!

My close friend and I were in the Navy together and he is Mexican but he is real light skin and we spent a lot of time in Italy and he used to tell the girls his name was Antonio (not Jose Luis) and he told them he was from New Jersey (Born and raised in San Antonio). They used to eat it up.

oh yes, the child is def my little mini twin. no joke. and her personality is just like mine...kinda sarcastic humour but softens it with a laugh...she can clown with the best of them!! we are together 24/7, when i DO get a chance to go on 8 drives with the crew in SA she goes with, that is why night meets dont work for me. if bambina cant go, i dont go. simple as that.
i wish i had more time to do the weekend runs, like the texas 8 that was amazing 2 years in a row but our free time is crazy limited.
yes the sun is crazy intense here. our winter color is brown and everyone thinks we are dark but i always tell them wait till you see the summer color, is waaaaaaaay darker lmfao!! the tan lines even with spf 85 are a trip!!!

The chicks in my spin class tan like that and man I have never seen girls so dark in all my life and I grew up in Hawaii!! That skin cancer is no joke though so be careful. My dad was a triathlete and he now suffers the damage from all teh years of Hawaiian sun.

and the skin cancer, omg, i know, i have always used at least an 85 and i actually just bought a neutrogena spf 100. we dont play, we do not not burn cuz i reapply ever 45 min. i have friends who come over to my pool (i should say my subdivisions' pool) and they refuse sunscreen and are all "i just need to get my first burn out of the way" and i go mama bear on them and am like, hello skin cancer you will NOT get on my watch thanks... so they all know if they are hangin out with us they have to sunscreen it...
