IMO, most people in Texas are horrible freeway drivers! They treat the left lane as if it's the same as the right lane, plus everyone cruises at the same pace. If you see 4 SUVs side by side on the freeway all travelling at 55mph - you're probably in Texas. Makes sense why racing down there only involves turning one way - Texans can't drive! LOL
Makes me sick to see a WWP damaged - it just looks way worse. I hope you can get it fixed and looking new again real soon.

haha lived in Texas for over a year. This was my experience too....you get two people on a 4 lane highway(2 lanes each way). Both will be on cell phones driving 50mph in a 65 side by side with 2 miles of traffic behind them. This was my drive to work every day for 6 months. I think I found a new job for this reason alone.
Other than that people are just very obtuse in their driving. They don't pay attention to whats around them and don't seem to care about the needs of other drivers.
Jones has it right too. I like it when it rains in Texas..the roads are EMPTY!
Rant OFF
Stereotypes happen for a reason!!
You get your car back? New pics of the repair?

I've been in Texas for over 3 years and that's been my experience. It's one of the reasons that I don't like driving as much as I did. (The overall flatness and lack of natural scenery probably helped to) Everyone out here doesn't drive like that. Just enough people do to ruin it for everyone.

k, one last update before i get my car back. The collision center said all mechanical and bodywork is done and it's goin into paint. Once they complete painting they're gonna test drive it and look for any problems. They said at latest i'd have it back by thursday. Needless ta say, the anticipation is killin me.

Well it's down to the nitty gritty... So to speak, all mechanical, body, and paint is done. However, the body shop is having trouble hunting down a used wheel... i no used... and that is the only thing keeping me away from my WWP... another exciting update, they found a lil more damage to the drivers side front bringing the total up to near 17k... Anywayz, if anyone could hook me up with a good deal on an 18" OEM wheel, i'd be much obliged. Wish me luck, body shop said it'll be ready by the end of the week (how many times have i heard that?)

Unfortunately, this happens in CA too... especially after ppl started driving slower to save on gas.
