Can someone help me with stage one mod ideas???
I just bought an 05 gt. The only things i have done to it so far are clear side markers and koni springs + shocks... I am curious to know what other rx 8 owners do for their first mods and what websites are legit to buy from.. Thanks Guys

since you posted in our area, i can help you out with that, just let me know what type of mods your interested and ill help u out. if you want power mods, go with the simple bolt on with exhaust and intake, it will give your car a nice growl to it

i have to say that i think lazi mi-styped that....

no seriously, lazi is good ppl, i've never dealt with him, but only heard good stories.
cat back and intake are common first mods, along with spring/shock which you have already. sway bars are popular here. if you really want power, your going to have to go FI. all the bolt ons in the world wont get you much past 220ish whp

I would buy rims and personalize your car first.....
In my opinion...
Honestly, exhaust and intake will give you like 20hp.
and I think your springs and shocks will compliment your future rims....

my sound stupid but FI? its my daily driver. I have seen the greddy turbo kit but have yet to find a supercharger. Since the whine would compliment the motors sound when revving at high rpm. My car is exactly like the black one posted. minus rims. alot of people doubt the speed and performance of rx-8s. so i want to **** on the ******** who think mustang gts are sooo cool. and other idiots

HAHAHAHA!!! you'd be lucky to get that even by completely removing the exhaust...
(this has been tested btw.... a member with a renny motor on a bench/engine dyno... i believe it was Hymee)
even a VERY lightly modded GT Mustangs will require FI to '**** on'. If you're afraid of turbo's/superchargers look at nitrous and talk to Charles R. Hill
