As long as you don't submit like 1/2 hour before the session closes you should be good. Obviously the earlier the better but you don't have to submit right at the beggining of the session.

10 business days at that point.
And? Your AP is scheduled to ship tomorrow. You processed your payment on the 13th (you ordered on the 12th, but your credit card authorization had whatever problem you were having) and 11 biz days is the 31st.
This is a good guide.

Technically the 27th is the 11th day but whatever

My order was placed and processed on the 12th I noticed a few hours later Google had an old card -- I updated everything the same day -- I use google checkout for my business too so as soon as i updated the card google charges it -- Plus google holds all payments from Thursday to Saturday anyway so you wouldn't be getting my money into your bank account until the following week.

So "technically", uh, wrong.

Hey Jeff, Like dondo, I believe I have fixed a boost leak. My data log list includes ignition time lead and ignition separation from the last time you tuned me in SOCAL. Do you want that info as well? And like dondo, I'm assuming to do the Idle and 4th gear datalogs only.

Just received ver 4_0_5 through one of Jeff's sessions and really was anxious about flashing it to see if any improvements were made. Let me start off by being honest in saying I was a little discouraged at first with the performance of earlier versions and maybe had been expecting to much which may of brought on any scepticism. V 0_1 felt subtle improvements but nothing to be overly exuberant about. Then followed V 0_2, 3 & 4 again improvements in acceleration and bottom end torque but still felt maybe I was missing out on something........... again nothing to be crazily impressed about. Well let me tell you V 0_5 feels like a totally different animal and can't begin to convey in how much of a difference and how different this car feels. Jeff has indicated to me that one more version till the tune is spot on! Anybody considering Jeff's tune don't hesitate probably if not the best mod you can get for you car in a NA application..............can't imagine Jeff's tune in a FI set up! Thanks Jeff again !!!

Glad it is working for you, HiRev!
Today was the most frustrating day I've had in a long time.
As soon as I signed on for the afternoon session, I got whacked with 40 submissions, all nearly simultaneously. I keep a text file on hand with "canned" responses to get things going, but I have NEVER seen anything like this. It took me nearly 20 minutes just to respond to everyone with a "hello"!
Of course, some people say hello, some people dive right in with the "11 Deadly Questions" (which is fine), but some immediately start sending files or asking lots of difficult questions.
Then there are the two Danish customers (no problem, I speak Danish) and the Greek customer (no problem, I understand a fair amount of Greek, even if it is Engreek transliteration) and the two French and Quebecois customers (I struggle, but I get by in French). But Dutch/Flemish is killing me! lol
Then there are the expired people...
Listen: I try to accommodate the people that are expired, especially those that are only slightly out of the program or got delayed by the previous system (or those that wrote in advance that they needed more time).
But, if you purchased your Service back in July of 2010 and you were on v4.0.2 by September and then you didn't send in anything or you just didn't feel like driving your RX-8 because it was too cold and then you come flying in 2 months into the new system like you own the place, how do you expect me to react?
I am still crafting my response to those people.
Then there are the people that didn't even purchase an AP or the service from me who come in with the Q's, but conveniently don't have the Google invoice. You think I can't figure out that you got it elsewhere? Seriously? Think I might be able to check your e-mail? Or your serial number?
Do you think I'm just gonna give you the stuff without confirmation? WTF?
Whew.
Thanks to those that just stopped by to say hi, BTW. Especially Giorgio. Keeps me sane.

Jeff..If it makes you feel any better about the day my problem is resolved. The new tune 6 corrected my issue. Don't know what happened but starting over with me collecting new files from tune 5 and you doing a new tune 6 achieved the desired result. I just took a quick test ride and we picked up quite a bit in the midrange with the new tune so while my day was brutal at work, this was the bright spot in my day.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Angler of the Year
iTrader: (3)
i was one of the expired ones
got mine in July... sent in my logs on time...still no custom calibration by January (no big deal to me) so I emailed you
you said I was still in your queue...i figured you were still packed from all the people that impulse purchased in July...again im in no hurry
but since you've started this new system i have had class every Tue and Thur that you were available
i literally had to take off work/class yesterday just to do my datalogs to get this thing done after almost a year.
definitely a load off though...the tune is feeling much better now
couldnt feel much of a difference with the first two custom tunes...maybe a little better idle and some lag in the accelerator.
The last tuned was definitely more on the right track though...smoother idle, more power around the lower RPM range, and smoother acceleration.
glad to see it's getting there
i appreciate your patience Jeff

I am the same way... bought mine when the whole discontinued scare was on; sent an email asking if I could delay service untill my turbo was installed in October 2010.... submitted via email for a tune but never did recieve a calibration until I got my first custom map the opening day of this new google talk submission system. Really appreciate the service Jeff and you can always know that as soon as I make changes to my current set-up.... which won't be very far away I'll be subscribing for your services again.
