I think you should move the Second "E-Tuning" event to the night of St. Paddy's Day. Also be at the Tilted Kilt with Green beer and Short Skirts in hand.

Jeff still not to clear on how you intend to handle the load if the case being you have countless people wanting to submit there logs. Am I correct in assuming you'll be accepting invites in correspondence to those who have numerically been awaiting in queue . So basically will those who have been waiting for some time now have precedence in submitting logs in real time over those who may have had just recently purchased your service.

As people sign in, I'll check their "credentials" and then they'll upload their files.
Then, while I'm working their calibration, the next person signs in.
On a typical dyno day (about 10 hours), I can tune 8 to 10 cars. That includes 2 minutes per iteration of the tune to upload, a pull for each iteration, at a total of 7 to 10 iterations per car.
That is 80 calibrations in 10 hours.
Now, remove the 2 minute per calibration upload time (about 3 hours "wasted") and the 30 to 60 seconds per dyno pull (another hour and a half) and that leaves enough time for 100 calibrations or more in 10 hours.
To be conservative, I'll expect to knock out 80 each day, 160 over the two days.
That should cover most of the existing queue, right up to the last week or so.
If 70 people sign in at the same time, I'll just do some triage.
I'm willing to bet that a full 1/3 of the people signing on will have useless logs, anyway.

Jeff prety impressive did not realize you could pump out that many tunes in time frame indicated.. I'll definately try to get my confirmed submissions in. Many thanks for implementing this !

Hey Jeff
I just want to be involved with this for the chat, my car is in a thousand pieces right now.
The first post doesn't indicate to whom we should send the Google Talk invite.
Are we to send you an G-talk invite to AP@MazdaManiac.com or are you making up a special account for this live event?
I originally paid via PayPal .... is sending a copy of the invoice acceptable or you would you prefer strictly the details in the invite email, such as:

Since I just realized that GoogleTalk allows you to move files back and forth, I eliminated the need for the third-party file hosting site.
We'll just shove files back and forth through Google.

Jeff: make sure people actually download the google talk application and not just use the chat feature in their gmail or their igoogle as those won't allow the transfer of files.

weirdest thing is i was replying to jedi in support of his post , just as you did. but when i started posting your post wasnt there. his was the last of the thread.
so I put the link in hit reply and bam your post is in before mine. im thinking "jeff and i posted at the same time" but the time stamp on yours is 40 mins earlier. i figure its just the interweb screwing with me.
