I didn't think he would need to know the question he asked so yes I did strip them for answers only. Like everyone has always told me just KISS(keep it simple stupid). I guess i'm not understanding this map thing he's requesting i put v1c_3a is that not it? and the loggs were attached in a zip folder for I'm not computer savy enough to create and excell graph.

How many times does someone have to tell you to
Attach a copy of the calibration you are currently running (see embolden big *** red letters)
and a GRAPHICAL datalog of your WOT operation in a couple of sequential gears with AFR, RPM and MAF or load shown.
A screen shot of your logging software or an Excel graph is best.
You're crapping all over this perfectly good thread.
If you're in the military, your career, your life, revolves around following orders.
How hard is it? Geez!!!

Attatch the actual calibration file, not just the name. The file should be stored somewhere on your computor if you can not find it on your PC it will be in your AP and you can download it onto your PC with the AP manager. Post and attatch dont mean the same thing.

You know i've been thinking that was the problem for the last 3 days but was hoping it's not. I that case you all drive fords or those that own chryslers actually own a mercedes wow that would be nice. Oh and I don't know how to attach a copy of the calibration tried that already and failed so can someone tell me how using vista

Do you have a datalogger? If not then try the best you can to remember the AFR and RPM data at WOT for like 2nd and third gear. Put that info in your email with the questions answered and current cal. If you do then I'm not sure if it is the same but it should be relatively close, but I think on page 142/143 Shelldude put some step by step instructions on how to create an excell graph. Took me a couple nights to get my first one close, as I too am very busy, but after that it has gotten easier and his instructions are very good. I have the EFIdude and it works for what I need it for and is easy to use and cheap, FYI.
What I did is just copy and paste his questions in my reply and to the right of them provide my answers, attached my cal and my graph. Once you do that you should be good.
If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask. Myself along with others, I'm sure, will try to help if we can.
Dude, go somewhere else with that crap. That is not needed here nor anywhere else on this forum.

I'm going to do some more datalogging today, now that it finally stopped raining. hopefully I can get all the #'s for you, MM, and we can FINALLY start getting these AFRs out of the 3rd layer of hell.

What's not needed is this guys attitude towards MM.
He's been told over and over what to send, and he doesn't do it.
Just read his post in this thread. Multiply that by who knows how many emails he's has sent to Jeff.
Hopefully you guys can get him squared away via email. Good luck.

Maybe computers and certain tech items aren't this guys cup of tea, I don't know. But I believe this forum is about helping each other out and having fun with a great car. Yes MM is providing a great service to us all and is probably, at times, overwhelmed and I believe he is being very patient. I'm just trying to help the problem if I can.
I hope so and thanks!

However, it would have to be on Friday or Sunday and it would have to be short.
That said, it would also be relatively cheap since I will already be there.
I will see if I can plan something and if there is enough interest.

Power!!
Cool. Let me know what times you'd be able to support and I'll see if my arrival/departure can work around that. I'm sure I can do a Sunday morning. Friday may be a bit more up in the air depending on my progress there and what time you guys start drinking.

Sent you a couple responses. As I said in the email, perhaps we'll get additional constructive feedback in the thread, I do not think that EFIDude screenprints are all that meaningful by themselves. Things get squishy and it's hard to identify the high and low point values.
I think a journal is the best way to go, as illustrated, using the EFIDude graphs:
2nd Gear
2000 RPM = 14.1 AFR
3000 RPM = 14.1 AFR
4000 RPM = 13.7 AFR
4500 RPM = 13.1 AFR
5000 RPM = 12 AFR
6000 RPM = 12 AFR
7000 RPM = 12 AFR
8000 RPM = 11.7 AFR
The offer is still open for me to convert a CSV extract to native Excel and embed some charts in it, assuming you give me full range, wide open throttle data for a couple gears... That's 100% load, 2000-8000+ RPM the whole way through per gear.

OK, either the AP is useless for displaying accurate, real-time AFRs, or the ECU is retarded and is feeding different amounts of fuel each time I go WOT at the same RPMs.
1st gear, 6500 rpms - 11.1, 11.5, 13.1
3 different WOT runs.
What should I use? I'm guessing 11.5, but if thats the case and corrections are made, and it happens to actually be 13.1, it's gonna be ridiculously lean, no?
This is harder than I thought it was gonna be..

Are you running the latest version of the AP Manager and AP firmware? Latency was an issue at one point.
