I don't have it in my email, it's possible it went to junk mail, but i don't see why it would have, as the other emails I've gotten from you haven't gone to junk mail. I searched my junk mail and my trash, and didn't find it. Could you re-send it please? thanks.

k, new calibration loaded in, i'm still getting afr's down to 11.1. i'll do some logging w/ the accesstuner race and send the graphs in. it feels a little more responsive though, esp. in the upper rpms, but that may just be me wanting to notice a difference. ??

Quite the contrary - you don't know exactly what the stoich AFR is for the gasoline, as it differs from blend to blend, tank to tank.
What you do know is that for every fuel, lambda 1.0 is stoich. Besides, the fuelling tables inside the PCM are lambda based - probably for a very good reason...
Cheers,
Hymee.

lambda is not > afr just like a dozen eggs ia not > 12 eggs

The lambda or AFR targets are equally useful since they are equivalent suggestions, not a certainty.
The tables simply tell the injectors what to do - the outcome at the tailpipe can be quite different, depending on the accuracy of the MAF scaling and the injectors scaling.
This is why I spend most of my time trying to get data from people to get these scaling values correct. If they aren't, the values in the tables are significantly less meaningful.

1) Follow directions
2) Follow supplied links
You would get a LOT further.

Im not trying to call you out and say that you are wrong and I am right. I am just saying that I have tried to follow instructions 100%. I have sent you all the things you have asked me about and we have even had a couple of back and forth emails talking about a couple of things but from some time back I have not recieved anything. All I am asking is if you have recieved the latest ones since I am getting the upgrade and I need the injectors and tuning for the new setting.
And yes I have followed instructions. You told me to send you the calibration that I was using and tell you what I wanted changed and I even told you the AFR's at WOT and idle and cruising like you asked for so what else do I need so I can follow instructions?
I am sorry for ranting like this but I know that you are a great tuner and I would hate to have to go to someone else and I am a little frustrated since I havent been able to finish the car how I want it.
Thanks for reading and sorry for this but I just have to say it.
Hope we can fix this all soon.

Some of you guys are just spitting in the wind...
You're better off with someone else, why waste the time with Jeff, he clearly doesn't give a ****. Once the money hits his pockets forget about any kind of progess, I sure didn't get anywhere with him. Thanks to Cobb for releasing their ATR, I can create one from the OEM style map and no more issues and having to depend on someone that doesn't plan on helping anyhow.
I can hear it now...but you're getting the calibrations for free and he's so busy. Sure, it's not like we paid for a paper weight and none of us have anything better to do.
All I hear are pathetic excuses on why he's not getting back to everyone.
What's up with having to redo all of his maps, I would love to know the real reason for that one. It's nothing more than a broken record at this point "follow the directions" "read the links". Sure, do just that and you get the "I didn't receive your email" line.
This is about the time the little fanboys come in e-hump their master...
...or he comes in and just shovels more BS into the mix.

Wow and i thought my post could come through a bit rough.
It is a bit frustrating to have to wait but he is a good tuner and I preferr to have a good tuner do this than try and do it myself and blow up my motor.
But I do agree that saying follow the links or instructions when you have done it is a bit too much.
If I had a local tuner for accessport I would have gone there already but there is none that I know of so I have to wait or just get another EMU and that cdosts too much money for me right now.
I still have a little faith that I can make this all work.

Jeff, without getting involved in winging insults etc... I sent in the email asking for the FI maps, we exchanged a couple of brief emails about my turbo, but you never sent the maps. I sent two follow up emails in the same thread asking again politely for them but I have still not seen them.
I purchased my AccessPORT Aug. 7th and although I have followed the instructions and carefully sent in data (with graph etc) and followed up via email I haven't received any updates to the base maps thus far for NA or the FI maps I requested.
I think that you are obviously very good at what you do, but it seems that you have bitten off a bit more than you can chew in terms of how many customers you are supporting especially when this is not (as several people have mentioned) your full time job. The biggest concern for most of the people who are waiting on updates is either cars which are undrivable while they wait for maps, or people concerned about the 6 month limitation on the tunes. Perhaps extending the time limit on the tunes, and posting something on your website about the delay in updating the tunes with the new software would help out somewhat.

If you have a problem with Jeff, a more appropriate forum would be the Good Guy/Bad Guy section. This section is for discussions on the AP.

The insults and such are definitely not needed for this thread, but some of us are posting here because Jeff actually posts and responds to posts in this thread and we haven't had any luck getting email responses for months.

"Jeff actually posts and responds to posts in this thread"
"we haven't had any luck getting email responses for months"
maby he should spend more time responding to emails instead of playing on the web

this should be about the cobb ap, not a support page for a retailer who has his own website

Wow. Nice.
There are over 300 of you out there now.
About 120 of you are incapable of sending a useful data log or following the startup directions.
20 or 30 have legitimate issues due to MAF placement or customized applications.
My "AccessPORT Correspondence" folder has 738 e-mails in it as of 12pm, PDT.
I am NOT going to even attempt to make an excuse for my administrative skills. Obviously, I don't give a **** because the money has hit my pocket.
Oh, that's right. I do this for free. I forgot.
Next time, I'll start charging for the calibrations. If I can remember.
