I am seriously thinking of hooking up my emanage ultimate instead of selling it and offloading the ap. I miss driving my car. I emailed Jeff twice and asked him if I had everything correct in my email. I got no response. It sucks not knowing if I am going to get a map or not. How hard is it to have a simple response? If I knew this was the case, I wouldn't have wasted my money on this and gotten a.....get ready for this......Interceptor X! ![EEK!](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/eek.gif)
C'mon Jeff, let me know when to expect a map. Thanks.

my interest in the AP is only for getting rid of engine codes to get my inspection sticker. I was going to borrow one from someone local to do that. I just got a ticket today for my expired sticker. If ur getting rid of it cheap I might bite, but luckily i don't need it for management. And don't make fun of my Interceptor-X :'(

There are so many things to take into consideration for our engines. Unless you are a rotary god like Jeff you might make mistakes.
The 1st thing that comes to mind is the dwell settings need to be changed with the Mazsport ignition solution.
He spent countless months perfecting his maps. No dyno tune session will ever come close.

Even if you take your car to an experienced shop that does not mean they understand rotary engines.
I don't have any Cobb dealers near me that work on rotary cars.

I wonder if one of the base FI maps one of you guys have would work for my 2005 MT non-Cali with GT2871R turbo. It's a base GReddy kit with the upgraded turbo. It's similar to the GT3071R in the MM upgrade kit in terms of flow... anybody out there have those base maps?

You know come to think of it, I drove from Iowa back to NY in one stretch. Of course if your car is non-functional and have no base map, you're kinda stuck there.

doesnt the cobb website offer some base maps? maybe a few people can give cobb a few different base maps for a few different setups and much of this can be solved.

Power!!
All most of us NA folks need is to tweak our base maps to get our AFRs in the recommended range. If I could get in to his it would be pretty straightforward for me to pull a little fuel and then re-datalog until it's where I want it. But starting from scratch is pretty daunting for me.

edit: Plus he provides a lot of features that the COBB base maps don't such as the lower fan on temps, MOP increases, and Rev limit increase These are definitely valuable and worth paying for. Plus whatever else he hasn't mentioned. I've started a new base map with these changes and kinda gone off what information I could find on his recommended MOP settings.

Yeah. but as people are pointing out his service isn't really working right now. I'm on day 40 from my last request for changes and don't even know if I'm in the queue or not. I can only assume since I followed his instructions that I'm in.

For us NA people is not that daunting of a task believe me (well other then the ignition timing which is a black art if you dont have a chasis dyno). Scale your MAF according to the LTFT your car sets on a stock map, then scale the changes cobb makes until your AFR's are where you want them.
fan temps and rev limit are just a few numbers to change in the ATR program.

So I'd like to be able to set the timing maps per MM's guidance and then do a datalog run and see where I sit and adjust AFR from there with the fuel maps.
The last map he provided bumped me from 11-11.5 from 5K-9K WOT to 11.5-12 so it was in the right direction and just needs a little more tweaking.
